Delectable Art Volume 1: The Complete Book of Candy Bouquet Art for Fun and Profit Paperback – Illustrated, June 7, 2008

I expected the book to have more infomation on various construction techniques and a variety of photos of different types of finished bouquets. 95% of instructions and photos are on constructing various flowers. The bouquets all look similar, just different candy.Disappointed that there are NO instructions or photos on making Candy Bar bouquets. The title of the book says "The Complete Book of Candy Bouquet Art;" it's NOT complete!!! The information provided and the various "flower creations" can be obtained for FREE on the internet!! And, too much of book focuses on how to make this a "business." Book should have been listed for $12.95! Don't waste your money on this one!!! There are much better and CHEAPER books on Candy Bouquets on Amazon!!!

This book was good....not as good as I expected it to be but it was good. It shows varous ways to make crafts with food. Like edible arrangements. Some were less than impressive but some were really cute.

The book has a lot of information as far as business goes. But not enough photos and instructions for finished bouquets. The author talks about where to get supplies and how to do a spread sheet. All good information. But I am more interested in doing bouquets for family and friends not as a business. Book a little on expensive side for what you learn from it. Hope her 2nd book will be more about bouquets and how to make them.

I purchased this book in hopes that it would spark my imagintaion for making sweet bouquets. However, when I opened the book, I noticed that some of the pictures of the candy bouquets were not clear. It was as if these photos were taken at home. They were quite blurry. I paid $29.99 for this book. Based on such a price, this book should have more projects and clearer pictures! It is over-priced.

Disappointed that photos were in black and white, would have much preferred color illustrations. Do not remember seeing blackand white in preview. For the price I definitly expected better photography! Good basic info but not enough to justify price.

I hate this book very disappointed..I have never written a bad review but when you write a book about making candy bouquets it would be common sense the bouquets should be in color..all the book was in black & white wouldn't buy another book by this author.. also amazon should state when the books are in black & white in their description..thank you..

This is a good book w/lots of info. Some of the info. is common sense though, but for some, maybe something they didn't know!?I'm 1/2 through reading the book & of course have scanned the rest. I'm pleased w/my purchase. I am in the business of sign rentals & am adding these to my business. I am definitely getting something out of the book!

Despite the brightly coloured cover on this book, it contains only poor quality, grainy black and white photos. I was so disappointed, I returned the book for a refund. For many years I have been an avid reader of craft books, and feel that clear colour photos are essential, after all, hand made craft items are very visual. This book was very uninspiring, and I doubt the photos would have been much use when trying to follow the instructions. All in all, the most disappointing craft book I have ever bought.
