Bulk Buy: Lion Brand Homespun Yarn (2-Pack) (Painted Desert #790-407)

I received some yarn from a friend, but it wasn't enough for a full project. Imagine my delight when I was able to get the same color in the same lot number! I did not think that would have been possible. Very pleased with the product.

The picture showed soft, subtle colors, whereas the actual yarn is garish, dark blues/ greens/ purples, mixed with a brassy gold color. They need to update the picture to show the newer version of "Painted Desert". I will have to return it.

Yarn was just what I Needed to do wish project. Love it.

I originally bought this yarn in a local store. Of course, I purchased the last two skeins. Painted Desert....the color was amazing.....the colors were stunning and light. I couldn't find it again in any stores in my rural community so I ordered more of this color online. The dye lot was so incredibly different from the original. Very drab.....the colors muted. Very disappointed in my purchase. I would buy this yarn again.....so incredibly soft and easy to work with but only if I can do it in a store where I can actually see the color of the yarn in person.

I like the way the colors meld and the way this yarn knits without stretching. Try to buy this brand when possible!
