VERY Thick board book, great colored object examples!
My 23 month old learned her colors quickly with this book and enjoyed seeing the different items that are of the color. It was fun to talk about the items and explain that they were red, blue etc. Colorful and easy to teach about colors and their association with the things in our world!Look for the shapes book too!! My 2yr old learned them all after we read it twice.

Colorful and fun
This author really knows how to write books for children. Bright, colorful and fun. My son loves these books, and you can see him looking at the words, the pictures, and learning to make sense of it. He has loved these since he was just a few months old. Even when an adult can enjoy reading them to their child/children then it makes it fun for all.

Fun, Colorful, Cute for Babies
I'm a fan of Karen Katz's board books and give them as gifts to all the babies in my life. I'm told that the one-year-old I got this for immediately started eating the cover - a good sign. This is a board book with examples of items of various colors to help babies learn their colors. Like all of Katz's books, it's colorful and fun and sure to appeal to babies.

Good for learning colors
This a really good book for learning colors. I like that it's very sturdy so my daughter won't tear any pages. She really likes having me read her this before bedtime. The only reason I did give it a 5 is because pink and orange are on the same page.

Another nice book by Karen Katz
A very eye catching book that holds my 6 month old's attention. I think it introduces the idea of color groups in an easy way. My only critique would be to separate the orange and pink page. The other colors don't share pages and I think it might be confusing for baby.

This book is great!
My 11 month old loves reading and re-reading this book. Granted, sometimes she ends the book prematurely as infants do in the being read to process. The pages are thick and easy for her to turn the pages. You will NOT be disappointed with these board-book style of books. They're heavy duty, tough, and durable for babies. Highly recommend!

some of the examples are a bit of a stretch
This book is sturdy (it's made of wood, which seems overkill for a book), and the colors are nice and bright. I'm sure my baby will learn to distinguish blue from yellow, etc. What bugs me is that some of the examples are just lame. Like for blue, one of the examples is "crayons". Really? That's the best you could think of? Also, the end lumps together orange and pink, which just strikes me as weird. Why bother including pink at all if you're just going to cram it in? Or maybe the author couldn't think of enough examples for each color to have its own page?

Perfect for young ones
I discovered Karen Katz when I had my daughter. I read this book to her every day when she was born. She enjoyed listening to it and learning her colors. The pictures are great and it's a simple book for young minds.

Chulo y resistente
