Horse chestnut extract has become my relief from truly painful muscle cramps. As a child, I often woke in the night to serious cramps in my calf muscles. Through my twenties the cramps spread to my hands and feet and most everything in between. Simply twisting at the waist to reach something in the passenger seat in my car would set off a charley horse in my back, but the cramps in my feet and legs were always the most frequent and painful. Suggested by a friend I started taking this supplement daily. Four years later the only remaining symptom is the occasional cramp in the second toe of my right foot. I count that a success.
