Horribly built, doesn't stay in tune, strings snapped.

My daughter wanted to learn how to play so I purchased this violin for a Christmas present. the day she opened it she tried to tune it... it would not stay in tune, she ran the bow across the strings and they broke.. We were so disappointed with this violin....
