FINALLY found something that killed all the green algae in my decorative, cement 2-tier water fountain, AND KEEPS IT AWAY! Been using fountain water cleaning solutions for 1-2 years from a national hardware store that kept the fountain water clear for about 1 week, BUT ONLY AFTER I DUMPED ALL THE FOUNTAIN WATER myself, and refilled the fountain with fresh water. Never really solved the problem; green algae. However, Fountain Algaecide and Clarifier does the trick. Dumped all the old water out of the fountain 2 weeks ago, added a capful of this incredible algae-terminator solution, and my fountain water is still running CRYSTAL CLEAR! IT'S AMAZING! Since I just started using this miracle working solution, I'm not sure how long that capful of potent formula will keep the water fountain's water clear. So, I'm going to sit-tight, keep my eyes on my water fountain, and when the water starts to turn green with algae, I'll then know the run-time for a capful of this dynamo solution, dump out the fountain water, and start all over again. (I believe the bottle says add one capful per week, but I'm going to test it and see how long one week's application will last before I have to start over, and begin administering the solution weekly, as the bottle suggests. Works well. Fountain is really clear after 2 weeks.

I like the product so far. The only issue I had was the concentration for a smaller amount of water was high. It has lessened the growth of algae and considering I live in an extremely high temperature area, especially in the summer, I am happy.

Very good algaecide for a.fountain favored by birds. With the recommended weekly amount my water has stayed clear all month! Before this I was using a daily treatment and still had to bail wash and refill the fountain every 2 weeks. Dead algae sinks to the bottom in clumps and can easily be picked up with a skimmer

I have bought this a few times over the years. I love it. It cleans my fountains and keeps everything around it safe and the birds that flop around in them as well. It kills all the unwanted bacteria’s.

Always had a problem with algae in my electric fountain due to location (unavoidable) in sun most of the day. Had to scrub the green out every few days. Since using this clarifier algae is no longer a problem. Water stays clear. I clean it about every 10 days. Safe for birds.

I bought this to try because our fountain had gotten so cloudy and the chlorine did not seem to be helping. We put in a small amount and in just a few days the water was crystal clear. Would highly recommend!!!

Yesterday I used this as directed in my pond. I’ve always used the API product, but I wanted something that was going to kill more of the algae. I do not have fish in the pond, but I did have tadpoles, ,frogs, and salamanders. I used this as directed yesterday as I only have about 250 gallon pond.Not long after, I walked by the pond and noticed that all the tadpoles were moving around like crazy. I said wow that’s really strange. Then my husband and I added water to it yesterday, wondering if it was hurting them. I walked out today, and I see none left. This product most likely burned them to death. If it’s hazardous to them in the pond, then if any wild animal comes around drinking from that pond, I’m sure that that will be a hazard to them too. After reading it, it’s also very hazardous to humans. This is the time of the year that my grandchildren look forward to the wildlife in my pond. I DO NOT recommend this product, now it’s too late for me not to go back to API. Do NOT Purchase!
