Very happy with these water boots. Well made very comfortable to wear and based on the reviews I read that you should go a size down not a size up if you for example, light and shoes I normally wear 11 1/2 so I ordered the 11 and they fit absolutely perfect.

I've been scuba diving for over 30 years and recently took it back up after taking a break. My original Mares high-top scuba diving boots that I purchased back in 1995 finally wore holes in the tops due to a nervous habit of mine where I wiggle my big toes up and down. While my original Mares boots had white grip bottoms, I love that these are all black. The zippers are high quality and slip on and off quite easily where I can tuck my wet suit in them and zip it up with easy. They are quite sturdy and are high quality. I just returned from a dive trip to Bonaire and I'm glad I invested in Mares once again. I highly recommend this item if you can find it in your size. Best of luck and safe diving!

I have extremely wide feet. I read all the reviews and ordered to size down much against my better judgment. They fit perfect.!!!

The boots are good, the SIZE CHART IS OFF. All of the US sizes are one size too big. I have always used size 10 shoe or boot, but a size 9 boot fits me.

Super comortable and the zipper makes them easy to put on and off even when they're wet. They were easy to walk in; I even did some minor hiking up and down hills on somewhat rocky terrain and they were great for that. Comfortable for swimming and provided much appreciated extra padding with my fins on. I typically have found fins/flippers to be extremely uncomfortable because of my wide feet (and more recently bunions) but while wearing the Mares boots my feet were fine in the fins. I have small but wide feet (wear a ladies 6.5 with 2E width) and the womens size 7 were quite roomy.

These are my first pair of dive boots, so I don't have experiences to compare to. These boots are very comfortable and sturdy. They fit my feet and my fins very well. I also really appreciate the customer service from this seller. USPS lost my package and they sent me another pair through UPS. Highly recommend these boots and the seller.

I tried about everything out there cheap to over $150 from here on Amazon and even hubby dragging home from our dive shop how can a shoe (basically) be so different in size ?Nothing fit like these ! I'm a size 8 a smidge wide maybe but not really some brands were short in toes squished all up some to big loads of wiggle some I couldn't even get zipped up my ankle which I think are maybe a bit wide these were just right like Cinderella I was so happy.Booties fit my fins so perfect and don't feel like I'm wearing them at all while diving a lil rub when just on land walking but nothing something new wouldn't do and that went away quick they seemed to dry quick too. Booties have grip and rubber in all the right places and well made and material was pliable not stiff.I would buy again and would tell friends too.

This is a very comfortable dive boot. It did run a little bit big for me. I always wear a 12 and this was a little bit too big. I put on some dive socks and my foot fit perfectly!!! Very warm and nice quality.

These are great boots. Used for snorkeling and scuba diving in Hawaii. Highly recommend.

Exactly as expected - with the exception of being a bit thinner than the ones we have usually rented when diving (which I’m guessing were 5mm). Much less expensive than in the local dive shop too.

I wear them over my drysuit to keep the feet from wearing out
