Nice weight material. Sturdy stitching, especially on flap loop. Just wide and long enough for my normal pens, to carry a ball and fountain pen. Flap long enough to accommodate longer pen/pencil, and flap is soft, and not too hard. Also, right thickness to slide securely and easily under loop.

I use fountain pens. In the summer I mostly wear tee shirts and need a way to carry a pen with me. A fountain pen loose in a pants pocket is a proved bad idea. This pouch is perfect for me. It holds a pen and pencil securely and keeps them upright. The stitching is good and the leather appears to be heavy cowhide. It's not a fashion accessory but it does its job. I had to stretch the little strap that holds the cover flap in place because it was hard to get the flap under it when the pouch was full. I oiled it and stretched it over night. Turns out I learned something from breaking in baseball gloves. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Surprised at the quality for a reasonable price. The leather is nice, thick, yet pliable. Stitching also looks very durable.

Beautiful pen case that can hold one fountain pen or two pencils. The fit and finish on the case is outstanding. A really good quality case.
