How to Design and Report Experiments 1st Edition

This is hands down the best research book/intro stats book on the market. Finally a teacher who knows how to teach. A bonus is the fact that the text is funny...yes a research text with humor. And it works. Excellent choice. I am a PhD who is reading the book for brush up on my research skills. I read it cover to cover and it is good.

The concepts and examples are very easy to understand. Most of statistical books forget the goal and maintain you looking around the numbers. In my opinion, the book focus in experiments porpouse before design it.

Any book Andy Field writes about the dry subject of statistics is wonderful. His sense of humor helps to stimulate the brain to make connections/help retain the info AND is written in terms with fun examples that keep me from banging my head on the table to stay awake.

Excellent book, especially for those of us who find ourselves a little challenged by statistics and the whole research procedure and process.

This is my second purchase from this author. After struggling through graduate classes, this is a perfect review book. The author now has video vignettes relating to the SPSS portion

Thia is a great book to have as an intro to research or a reference. One of the fastest delivery I ever had on Amazon. I love the price.

I don’t know how he does it, but he actually makes statistics fun and easy to understand. His books are a must for any psychology student out there.

A lot of things I didn't get in the Andy Field's SPSS book (which I love dearly) turned out to be very simple and clear now.I also use it for my students as well when they are designing their first user studies. It was really helpful for me and my colleagues.

Libro introductorio sobre estadística. Aunque orientado a las ciencias sociales es fácilmente extrapolable a otros ámbitos. El lenguaje es claro y ameno. Se centra más en el método y la interpretación de los resultados que en la formulación matemática. Muy interesante desde el punto de vista práctico.

Good reading which works as a good point if entry for the design and reports of experiment. The text focuses more on describing the approaches and less on the mathematical theories, which can be studied from the references.
