Does this fray? I am considering this for cleaning my cat's teeth.

No, it is pretty sturdy. I use it for cleaning the "bottom" of my baby-boy during diaper change - I make it wet with tap water and then use it on much worse "mess" then cat teeth :-) and it will still hold solid in your hand, it won't fall apart while you do the cleanup at all.

What does non woven mean??

Non woven means gauze are soft and quilted . The Other Gauze types are not like that as they have more of abrasive feel to them.

Are they gentle enough for my dogs ears? some makers make them very roughly put together.

They are perfect for your dogs ears. That is what I use them for very soft.

Yes, it is lint free. In fact, I had a silver necklace that tarnished. I used a bit of toothpaste on the pad, buffed it and it shined right up. So these pads do more than wound care
