TI-30XS MultiView Teacher Kit Pack, Yellow

Outstanding quality for the lowest price i could find anywhere. No one else was even close. We are using these in 8th grade math. Scholars drop them all the time but they continue to work. The included manuals are useful when we need help. the fact that they are solar charged is helpful on the budget. They were new as advertised and the boxes looked good as do the calculators. The buttons are all fully functional.

This is a wonderful product! It's a great calculator that is easy to use and can be used on a variety of standardized tests. Students really enjoy the calculator's ability to simplify radicals and when using the radian function it will leave the common degrees (those on the unit circle) in simplified radical form. This ability is great for those taking the ACT. Perfect for schools due to the yellow color and storage container. It does make it harder for students to accidentally take a calculator that is not theirs. Storage container is perfect for packing up at the end of class or sharing with another class. Holds up well. I have had many students accidentally drop these and they still work and no cracking of the screen. Well worth the money.

Literally the best calculator out there. It lets you type in fractions, exponents, and radicals easily. You can literally type in the whole quadratic formula the same way it is written on paper without having to worry about parenthesis. The display is very nice, making this calculator very user friendly.

These calculators are durable and have a cover to protect it. I made the mistake and got the 10 pk(oh well), but good for students as they have different math functions and use solar as well as the battery. Great brand and way way better than the calculators I used when I was in school. A good deal pricewise and good for students including if you are in college. I would get another one, but I have 10, so I doubt I'll be alive long enough to need more than I have, lol

Pros: Easy to spot. Includes a training activities to help students learn the calculator. Also comes with a poster to decorate your classroom/learning area. I absolutely love this calculator. I work as a GED instructor in the Hawaii Corrections System. I ordered these as there were not enough of them available and upper management refused to supply them. I since this is the official calculator of the new GED test, it is essential to have students work with them from day one. The bright yellow color made it easy to spot when a student decided to help themselves to a calculator or when I had to report one missing! The CD included with this set contains a large number of activities to help students learn the new calculator.

I was brought to the Amazon Wharehouse Outlet page, while looking at sets of 10 calculators for school. I thought, oh cool, I can get my dollars to go further, used sets. The cost was $68 much less than the $136 for a new set. I ordered two sets, while what I thought were two sets. I got the packages, 1 calculator each, some one is running a rip off. These calculators retail for $15 each. To sell one for $68 dollars is ripping people off, the return went well and everything was sent back. It was very misleading. I will be much more reluctant to use amazon for this kind of purchase, if I have to be wary of a rip-off every time I use the site.

These calculators are great, but despite the pictures showing a cover, they do not come with covers.

These are perfect for the classroom, they work very well for all grades. The only disappointing thing is that they do not come with covers. We purchased 3 boxes of 10 and none of them came with the cover. They should state that in the description and/or change the picture as they show ones with the removable cover. Otherwise, work like they are supposed to.
