The model came out in the 70's but Tamiya has made many updates/upgrades to the kit including: photo etched canopy, metal gun barrel, and improvements to many of the castings such as the motorcycle, some figures and accessories (gas cans, etc...). The directions are okay though you must rely on assembly drawings almost exclusively. The model goes together nicely and has some nice details. I would have like to see some welding details but that's probably too much to ask. The sprues are dated. The vehicle itself is on sprues dating to the mid 70's, while others date to 2007. Tamiya could improve this product by updating these older sprues (that have a lot of flash/defects) to match the improved quality of the new sprues. Overall, I think this is a great build for the price.

Very satisfied with product

I first built one in the 70s, nice little model. This repop is crisper in detail, with the aluminum gun barrel and the PE mesh for the open top. (kept grenades from getting into the cabin). This one is specific to the North African front, so panzer yellow will be the paint. Any other marking well require sourcing decals from elsewhere. The kit comes with a crew of two, and a motorcycle and rider. The bike is a very crisp, clean casting, with a good amount of detailing. The rider has the possibility to be somewhat positioned, (upper body). Add some extra detailing in the form of wire, possibley a rolled up tarp across the second seat and the bike turns out very nice.

でも、２０００円を超える金額はなかなか出せず、どうせなら複数個欲しいので毎回指を咥えて見ていました。しかし、ついに２０００円を切る価格になったので購入に踏み切りました。これで２個は購入できる！嬉しすぎる！贅沢を言えば、千円台半ばなら３個は購入したと思いながらポチしました。様子を見ながら、またこの価格帯なら、少しお金を貯めてもう複数個買いたいです。好きなキットが手に入り、製作したくてウズウズしているのですが、現在手掛けているキットがあるので、組み終えたら製作に入ります。めっちゃ楽しみです。Amazonさんありがとうございます。
