FobusRoto Evolution Series RH Paddle SWMPRP S&W M&P 9mm, .40, .45 (compact & full size), SD 9 &40

I have ordered two different holsters, IWB and OWB. This Fobus OWB is really nice. Super comfortable and holds the gun very secure. I have the choice here in Texas of open or concealed carry, for me, this holster will work for both. But that's just me. I am 6'1" and weigh 170, I wear XL dress shirts untucked. You really can't see my full sized M&P 9. I am wearing it at a 1 o'clock position. Sitting is fine, Very comfortable. The ability to change the cant is huge, you adjust it to the perfect draw position no matter where you wear it. For the dollars, this is an awesome holster; but if you wear tight or tucked shirts, it won't work at all for concealed carry.

As far as convenience goes this this holster is a winner! It is very easy on and off (unlike some paddles that you darn near have to rip your pants off to get the holster off), so it makes a great range holster. Also, the single screw Rotation adjustment is very convenient. And the single screw tension adjustment means no straps, buttons, or thumb releases to worry about; just grab and pull. Yet the weapon remains secure during carry. As I said in the title, I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the long run since I've only had it a month but at these prices, if it doesn't, I'll buy another one.

Overall, I like the holster. It holds my full size M&P .40 securely. It is comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time. If you are going to use it for concealed carry, be prepared to wear a jacket or a very roomy shirt. The holster is somewhat bulky. It holds your pistol about an inch away from your body. The adjustable cant makes it easy to configure the holster for a fast draw. I withheld one star because the original description said that the package included a beltloop attachment that could be interchanged with the paddle. There was no beltloop attachment.

Got this for my M&P 9mm Shield. Once I tightened down the retention it holds the gun securely and is easy to draw from. The adjustable cant was easy to set as well. I would have given it 5 stars but there are 2 squared off pieces of plastic molded into the inside top of the paddle that were pretty sharp and were digging into my side. Once I rounded them off with a dremel it's really comfortable and I forget it's there for the most part.

I do like this paddle holster, but I used it at a weekend long hand gun training class and was disappointed that the set screw that keeps the holster from rotating kept coming loose. I figure some lock tite would fix that. The paddle was comfortable, the distance from my hip was good so I could grasp the gun handle easily. Other than the loose set screw, I found this to be a great holster for my needs.

I like it, the only thing is it seems like there should be a way to keep it closer to your body. I have both IWB holsters and OWB holsters, most of themcan't be detected when there is a shirt tail over it. This one, not so much. Still a nice well made holster.

I had to turn over my last holster at a security check point, I was very angry at the time, but knowing I could have another one arrive in two days time, I quickly got over my angered emotions and ordered the new holster, with the roto paddle design, which was an upgrade, for the price I was pleased.

I love the fact I feel my weapon is very secure in here but there's no way I could actually CONCEAL my weapon in this holster, it's easy too big so I'll just use it when I'm camping. Excellent quality, just really big for a girls body of concealing.

Bought this for my S&W M&P 22 - fits perfectly. Looks and feels like it was custom made for this firearm. Wears comfortably.
