I bought 5/6. My daughter is about to turn 6. She fits in all things 5t and some 6. The dress runs a little big. It falls off one of her shoulders any time she moves. Its a bit loose under her armpits. The V neckline hangs a little lower than it should. It is also loose around her waist but with the tie it looks good. I think the dress is very pretty. Im thinking about ordering the next size down. 4/5

I purchased these dresses for my twin step daughters for a wedding and they were a huge hit. They looked absolutely adorable and fit perfectly. The twins are about 42 pounds each and I purchased the size 5.

I am so happy I found this dress for my 8-year-old daughter! I was looking for a classic cut, but with a little sparkle. So many dresses these days have flimsy fabrics, are cut in a style befitting a much older girl, or have some much "bling" that they attract magnets. This is a beautiful shape and the quality of the fabric is apparent - the colors are rich and vibrant and the tailoring excellent. She wore this dress for the holidays, but the color combinations will work for many other upcoming events. If you are looking for a classy, flattering, and age-appropriate dress, I wouldn't hesitate.

Very stylish dress. The only flaw was the difference in the patterns. If you look closely one dress is the reverse pattern from the other....(one pattern was upside down.) But if that doesn't bother you then it's cool. Both girls are 50ish lbs. 4ft tall. And I got size 8 for both. Maybe they run a little bit small.

Beautiful dress. My daughter wears a small, and is 6 years old. I bought the 5-6 and it fit perfect. She has long legs but it wasn’t too short. It did itch her a little around the waist, so we put a t-shirt underneath.

I bought this dress to my goddaughter bc she ll be my flower girls.The dress is prefect!!! Im so happy

This dress is beautiful and the price was great too. I bought it for my daughter's Christmas pics and she got many compliments on her dress! She is almost 3 and on the tall side so we got a 4T. The length was perfect but was just a smudge big on the bust area of the dress. My daughter is fairly lean so we used a small safety pin in the back and that fixed it no problem. She has some room to grow into it which is what I prefer!

We ordered this dress for our daughter to wear to her father/daughter dance and she loved this dress. I was skeptical to order, not knowing if it would run true to size. My daughter is almost 7 years old, but on the small side for her age (40 pounds, 44 inches tall). She has room to grow in this dress but it was not overly big at all. The waist was able to be brought in with the tie in the back, which helped with the fit around her small waist. The length fit great as well. The dress only needed a quick iron to smooth out a few wrinkles in the bottom part of the dress. There was a small chain-like decoration attached to the bow at the shoulder, which was not securely attached and did fall off the dress at the dance, but the dress & the bow still look great without it and you can’t even tell it’s missing anything that originally came attached to the dress. As a side note, the dress did arrive a day late because apparently it was sent to the wrong location for shipping departure or something, according to amazon. Amazon was supposed to refund a small amount to give a discount due to the shipping delay, but I did not ever receive the discounted refund amount. The shipping issue had nothing to do with the fit or look of the dress, so I didn’t consider that issue in my rating/review of this dress. I would definitely order this dress again and would recommend it to a friend- it looked beautiful!!
