I like my colognes to smell fresh, clean and not be overpowering. I get so many compliments when I wear this and it is a cologne for both men and women. My wife’s family is from Spain and as long as I can remember this is a very common cologne there, there is even a milder cologne for young children. The bottles are large and will last you for a long time.

This bottle is huge as you can see from the photo. The scent is pleasant and calming, it has a very nostalgic feel of a past I never knew but now I'm reliving. The smell doesnt last as much as I'd like but it does the job. It feels great to take a shower and put some of this on, you feel really fresh and clean. I'm in my twenties and was looking for a unisex scent to wear around the house that wasn't too strong but allowed me to feel refreshed and comfortable. I don't think it's is for everyone though, it's particular, classic, serious, traditional and a little bit more on the masculine side but I love it and totally recommend to give it a try. I think the whole family could use it, my mom loves it too and so does my grandfather. I'll be getting it again once it's done.

It is a "cologne splash", it is used best as an aftershave - but the difference is that this scent lingers. If you roll all our favorite A/S into one (Barbasol, Aqua Velva, Proasso etc., this is what you get in this product. The plastic bottle is quite large, it will last. There is an aroma of alcohol at first but it quiets down after 15 minutes. A lot of it is not required, though on cooler days I would use this on my arms as a splash. As the temp rises outside so does the scent as it does stay close to the skin. So, I would not layer a second splash aftershaving if using in warmer months. I keep mine in the refrig (though not required) and it feels great going on the face.This is a mans scent. Old school but does not "smell" cheap. This, to my nose is both crisp and musk at the same time.**EDIT - I would also like to say that this arrived very quickly, before the expected arrival date.

This product accomplished what I was looking for – a nostalgic reminder of my many years, many decades ago, visiting and living in Spain, where this fragrance was everywhere. I suspect that back then there may have been a few less synthetic ingredients, but since in today’s world this seems unavoidable under most circumstances, I am still pretty satisfied with the overall fragrance. The fragrance dissipates quite quickly, but then so do many much more expensive fragrances. I’m not sure what the people who give negative reviews were expecting from this product, but as far as my recollection of Spanish Splash Colognes, this is what it is. These splash colognes are always inexpensive, quick and easy to use, fresh but not very long lasting, but they serve a purpose. If someone wanted a longer lasting fragrance in a fancy bottle, they should be prepared to pay much more for much less and not look to this kind of product for that kind of result.

Aqua Lavanda Puig came into my life in the 1970's whilst I was looking for a scent for my favorite brother-in-law. I bought him a bottle at a Merle Norman shop on Lexington Avenue in New York City. He LOVED it! I then bought myself a bottle. It came in the flat green one I see in this review. I have been savoring that cologne since that time. I was unable to find it when I remembered I wanted to replenish it. This year my neighbor gave me a gift certificate that allowed me to buy two of my favorite scents. Aqua Lavanda Puig was one of the two. I ordered online and the shipment was prompt. I was, however sad to not receive the beautiful flat glass green bottle. I got instead a tall plastic squeeze bottle that I am currently trying to substitute :(. Aqua Lavanda Puig is a soft, refreshing scent that I use as an after shave and an after shower splash all year around. It is pleasant, not overbearing and yet masculine as one would not think Lavender would be. Aqua Lavanda Puig is both modern and old fashioned in a very classic way!

This is my second large bottle of this product. The first lasted over 2 years with almost daily use. Amazon description says it's for women, but you won't find that on the bottle. It's really for both sexes. As a young man I used Agua Lavanda Puig Cologne for men, which is no longer available. This product is much more dilute, so more of an aftershave or toilet water, thus the scent is not nearly as long-lasting. But the aroma is a fresh, pleasant and familiar one. This is a great buy at this price. Recommend highly.

When your fragrance has successfully been around 70 years, there's a reason. This is an old-school, classic, smokey-Vegas-poker game, Live at The Sands, Don Draper's office, underwater city of Rapture, Art-Deco, Rat Pack pool game, Ike from Magic City, pass down to your kids and grand kids kinda scent. You splash this on, and "I've Got the World on a String" suddenly starts playing. This is not a "wear everyday" type of fragrance; this should require, at the very minimum, a collared shirt. You don't put this on with shorts. This is evening wear, executive office type stuff, but certainly not to the club (unless the "club" is a jacket-required martini bar). This is not for everyone; it mellows into your skin all day, and initially upon opening it, I didn't 100% care for it. But, if worn in the right context, it suddenly becomes apparent why it's been around longer that you (and probably your father)...this is a fragrance from a time when men were men, and wore cologne that supported that. This pairs nicely with a good single malt scotch...in your office...at lunch time. Old Blue Eyes would approve.
