Thermal Coffee Carafe 68 Oz with Tea Infuser, Beechwood Handle, White

Giving this Carafe (68 Oz.) a provisional 5 star rating. The pluses are obvious, keeping the coffee hot, room for a whole pot of java, convenience of one button pouring and it's design is excellent both in how it looks and functions. The reason for the provisional rating is that the Hastings Carafe we bought is the second, a replacement. The first came in with--as many have shared--the handle broken. While making the return was simple enough and without much fuss, this one design flaw--which is significant--is troubling. Hopefully, this handle holds up and provides the years of service we expect from such a product at this price point. It replaces a older thermos type carafe with better than 30 years use and pretty much functions as it has from the day we got it, but we wanted to upgrade to this more stylish product that could hold the whole pot. Will update as time reveals if this carafe matches our old one for durability and trouble free use.

I bought the venera thermal carafe after buying and falling in love with my 50oz lagom. I have another thermal carafe from another brand that can hold the same amount of volume (68oz), and that one feels very big and bulky for daily use so I expected to feel that way about this one. To my surprise, the venera is sleek, elegant, and beautiful in person; for how big it looks, it holds an incredible amount of liquid! The thermal capabilities are good; it keeps my tea at my preferred temperature for about 3 hours, but still warm enough to drink after about 6 hours. I love the strainers so much; the mesh one is perfect for brewing my green teas and oolong teas, as they need room to expand for the flavors to come out. I'd love if they could be sold separately as well so I can buy extras! The areas that I wish were improved are 1. the wood on the handle starts to peel over time, 2. the area where the plastic and metal meet is hard to clean, and is easily stained by tea and coffee, and 3. while the heating is fairly good and stays warm for a few hours, I do have another carafe that can stay warm for twice as long. I hope in the future, the Hastings carafes will match it. With that being said, the minimalistic design of the Hastings carafes cannot be beat. They're beautiful as they are practical and functional. Despite some of my other thermals having an edge on how long they keep liquids warm, the Hastings ones still remain my go-to for every day use and most recommended to friends.

I do afternoon tea parties and needed a faster way of brewing tea for my customers. I invested in several of the Hastings carafes and they have made my life so much easier. The size and capacity are perfect and they keep the tea hot. The carafe is very sleek and modern with a wood handle. It also has a great tea infuser that fits in the carafe. We love it's minimalist with clean lines design, very modern with touch of wood on handle. Carafe has a small foot print for the amount of liquid it holds, great quality. We didn't notice any leakage when pouring. It comes with double strainer which is big enough to small blooming teas. I gave it 4 stars due to its heat retention, we tested it filling it up with boiling water, temperature was at lukewarm at best past 3hr mark. I really wanted something that would retains heat for longer. We are hoping that Hasting will up their thermal technology so we can continue getting their beautiful modern pieces.

I like this insulated coffee pot very much. Beautiful design. One thing, I cannot figure out how to disconnect strainer from the lid??? Works well any way but I don’t need the strainer, not making tea. I also have the pour over container- makes 6-8 cups of coffee.

My SO is Irish, and when they replaced their gas cooktop they were looking for a solution to keep their tea warm. I took a chance and got this for them, and they LOVE it. They have gushed about it, and they say it has been a revelation for the way they do their daily tea, to the point they said if anything ever happened to it they would buy another one immediately. They put a handful of Barry’s in it, pour in the hot water, and all of them (family of four) drink from it. They say when they come in in the evening their morning tea is still plenty hot to be drinkable. They liked it so much we got one too, and we love it as well.

5 stars for looks and engineering 2 stars for heat retention. The fit and finish of all the parts is excellent. The pour valve clicks solidly and with confidence. The strainers fit perfectly. The all metal construction should make it hard to ruin. BUT, it will require substantial temperature pre-conditioning if you expect it to hold temp. The glass liner thermos it is replacing would hold a hot pot of coffee all day and deliver a pleasantly warm cup the next morning. This beauty delivered a stone cold cup. I did pre-heat with a cup of boiling water while the coffee brewed but that was clearly not enough. I think you will need to fill at least half way with very hot water several minutes before you use it if you expect it to hold temp. Is the appearance and sturdyness worth the hassle? Your decision.

I have ordered two of these jugs and on both occasions the boxes have arrived damaged, and the products were damaged and broken inside. Very dissatisfied as these were supposed to be Christmas presents

Really impressed with this. We’ve been looking for a very capacious, insulated teapot for leaf tea for ages. Being fussy, we also wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing (ie not feel like it was something we’d have at work. It has exceeded our expectations! It takes a full kettle of water (1.8l) and keeps the tea warm for hours. Considering buying for family and friends now!

We received this with a cracked handle. It didn't stop the function but the handle would eventually fail and it looked like a very simple repair (one screw) so I reached out to Amazon to see if they could put me in touch with the seller. Amazon's system was basically useless and didn't get me the information I needed so I went to the companies website and reached out to them via email and they responded with a couple of hours. I was shocked at how quickly they replied. The company representative (Josh) said they couldn't send just a replacement part so instead they offered me a full refund without having to send the first one back. The customer service was outstanding, I was so impressed with their speed, efficiency and customer care. I will absolutely be using Hastings again for future products. NOW the actual product review. Fantastic construction and incredibly well designed. Keeps your drinks hot for hours and the large strainer for the loose tea is absolutely awesome.

We bought several of these for a Hot Chocolate Bar. One unfortunately was cracked at the wooden handle, however Customer Service was VERY responsive and excellent! These are very attractive thermal carafes and hold the heat even after several hours. Pouring is simple and smooth. My guests commented on how well the heat was retained and how pretty they looked. Their modern and elegant styling is perfect for any table casual to formal. I’m very happy with these and will use them for many occasions.

Es difícil encontrar un buen regalo para mi esposo y con este regalo di en el clavo, es bonito y muy funcional, le caben dos litros de café, además puedes preparar café ahí mismo, caliente, friío, té para tomar en el momento o té para tomar después, está divino. ¿desventajas? es pesado, pero esa es una característica inherente al material del que está hecho y a la capacidad que tiene.
