Luckily I had carpet under the blow dryer, I’m sure it would have cracked when it fell. I cleaned the wall prior to using the double sided tape. It was was hanging on the wall for about a week then fell off. Good luck

I originally gave this product a 5 star review, but it fell off the wall yesterday (less than one month after placement) leaving my blow dryer scuffed up and ripping a large patch of paint off the wall. I bought this product, because I'm a renter and didn't want to damage the wall with screws, but now I'm realizing a few screw holes would have caused less damage. Don't waste your money.

I was so excited about this product. I stuck it up and everything was great. Within like three days it fell off the wall and there’s no option to switch it to a mount method. I’m so disappointed.

For the price, I can’t recommend a better product. I bought this for my Dyson hair dryer and it fits perfectly. I did test other hair dryers and this product also fits them very well. The design is sleek and minimalist and the adhesive is sturdy and makes the product easy to install.

This lasted a month before in the middle of the night my $300 blow drier came crashing down along with it and my drywall. I contacted the shipper and they didn’t do anything. Don’t buy this if you actually want to use it.

I have only had this for about 2 months and it already has fallen off the wall. My hairdryer is not even heavy. I would pass on this one.

The wall holder was of good quality I attached it to wall and waited twenty fpur hours to use it. The very first day of usage it all crashed to the floorI would like to hear from the company how to attach it now for permanent use
