Excellent Quality, Would Recommend It
Even though I was on a budget, this is the one I went with it and have zero regrets. I wanted a transmission jack that had the reliability and had all the features of a top-of-the-line jack. I truly believe this is it. I found it during a Black Friday sale. I do think I had to be home for its delivery which I didnโt fully realize when I ordered it. In fact it was my nephew who was home, thankfully, to receive it as I was out on the golf course. Heavy Duty. Solid. Fast pumping through both stages. Head tilts in all directions with heavy duty hardware. Sits absolutely solid on the ground. Two locking casters placed on the right side for me. One man assembly. Pregreased, no leaks, I canโt remember if I added hydraulic fluid but we had a gallon on hand anyway. I looked at 3 other brands. This is the one Iโd recommend. Head plate is thick. Hardware is easy to use. Best bang for the buck even on a budget. Can easily work around it. Iโm probably going to add the gas tank accessory soon. Got an older crown Vic that needs a fuel pump replacement. Iโve used the jack for lower control arm installs under the knuckle for joint lineup and control and bushing preload for torquing nuts. I even used it as a jackstand before I got those. Within my return window closed, this went on sale for even less than I got it for, considerably less. I started a return all the way to selecting the pickup day and time and once I selected that, I immediately got a message asking me if I wanted to keep it for a partial refund. I love this jack! It will probably outlast my lift. I believe it will outlast my days of wrenching too.

substantal! its a good buy
Ok this will make it easy for you. After paging though all the junk Chinese jacks looking for something that's not OTC Big $$$money but will last in your pro shop with guys beating on it every day, how do you know what to take a risk on..... This is it. its heavy duty, goes up high enough that a 6' teck can use it. and has good lifting power and good stance so it is stable. This is the one to take a risk on!

The best intermediate level transmission jack on the market
Used professionally as an Automotive Technician at a large dealership. It worked so well that we have purchased a spare. The quick release knob is a very good touch. The chain could be a little more sturdy, but that can be replaced. No leaks after 3 years.

Sturdy and works well - 1/2 ton Transmission lift review
The jack assembled easily and worked very well during it's first removal procedure. My only complaint is that the knob to slowly lower the jack is too low. I would like it higher so I don't have to crouch down to turn it while looking up at the transmission trying to judge where it has to be.

This thing is built like a tank
Overall, I am very impressed with this absolute unit of a transmission jack. I had done some searching in the sub-$500 range and everything looked cheap and had mixed reviews so I splurged for this beast and hoped for the best. This thing ships in a wooden crate and if coming from Amazon, they arrange the delivery and it all worked out great- they even placed the crate just inside my shop door. The item is packed well enough that all the inside bits aren't destroyed. The assembly instructions are brief and refer to an exploded diagram (as opposed to a specific image for each step), but I was able to work through the whole thing in under 30min without having to backtrack and change anything. The black legs on this thing, I would almost think they are built out of trailer hitch tubing- they are stout. I had my car up on the lift, brought the jack up to height, adjusted the red-leg-keepers and the chain, lifted it a bit , took the last bolts out and then was able to sloooowly bring the transmission down (you can go fast too, but the first few inches are a bit tentative when you don't know if there is something still stuck somewhere and it is nice to creep a bit until you're all clear). I would definitely buy again and if you need one of these and don't mind the spend, I would definitely suggest you give this jack a try.

OK for occasional use.
In May 2024, I purchased a jack. The initial unit served me well for six months before experiencing internal binding and requiring excessive pressure to release. Upon contacting the manufacturer, I received a replacement assembly. However, the new unit has since developed hydraulic issues, with leaks causing the unit to continue collapsing after pedal release. While this unit may suffice for light use, I believe in a professional setting, a higher-quality option would be preferable.
