Quality, attractive boots at an exceptional price
Absolutely sterling boots, a bargain at twice the price.I bought them without expecting much but after a few weeks they've now become my daily wear. The fur keeps them snug and warm in this cold Autumn, it's well fitted and shows no sign of degrading yet. After my last pair of boots literally hobbled me for a week as I wore them in, it was a lovely surprise that these have been very comfortable from day one. They're a bit stompy and I've not had the nerve to try driving in them yet. It's a little annoying that the zipper's on the outside not the inside since that's a more natural place to fasten but it's not as bad as I expected. It's still a quarter of the time needed to put on un-zippered boots! The zipper, incidentally, is metal and sturdy. The fit's a little on the small side; I'm usually an 11-12 and took a 12 in these boots, having tried a pair of 11s that were too tight.Update, four months later:As I suspected, driving in these is possible but the pronounced brim around the shoe-sole tends to catch on the pedals a little distractingly. I'll get used to it, but be advised. After wearing daily for four months, the soles are beginning to wear a little thin in places but are still robust, water-tight and grip well, although the glue's giving a little in places.I put some good wax on them and protected the leather, and although it's scuffed and flexed, the leather's as strong and soft as it ever was, with no sign of giving under fatigue. The zipper has, if anything, become smoother and could probably do this for years. The wool is also still fluffy and hasn't gone bald; it's well-placed to insulate without taking the mechanical abuse of walking.Four months marks the point at which I've paid four pounds per month, per boot. That's pretty solid in my opinion.Update, Feb 2021:It's now been fifteen months. The boots have been my daily trudgers for the entirety of that time, although for obvious reasons they saw reduced use in 2020. They're still going strong although wearing a little thin on the soles; the fleece is still in good condition although compressed, I insulated them with fleece insoles. No leaks. I'm ordering a second, identical pair.Stupid not to, really.Edit edit:The year is 2024. I still have both pairs of boots; the zips have been replaced and I took one pair to the cobbler's to have a proper, mendable sole attached. I still wear them daily.

Compared to retail offerings, very good value
Chose a size 1 bigger than normal as advised. Thought I would feel like Ronald Macdonald but boot fits well. Fur lining takes up space. Comfortable to wear, sturdy and warm. Cannot comment on durability as asled because i only just bought them. Am quite pleased. Appearance is attractive and boots are well made and look as if they will last a good time.

Comfy but annoying.
Nice boots, look nice and are very comfy, only one niggle for me, after walking for a short time my socks disappear into the boot, new socks/old socks all disappear, probably the fur lining dragging them down. 😬

Quality product excellent fit
Excellent product I take size 8 but ordered size 9 and these were a superb fit. One zip slightly tight but put a little soap on and lubricated the zip nicely. Also pulls with the hook on a Swiss Army Knife. They could do with a loop on the back to assist pulling on but I used my extended shoe horn and they fitted a treat. The leather is real and soft and flexible. A quality product throughout made in India.

Really comfortable and althletic pair of boots
I'm used to wearing side zip boots and find them really convenient. I saw these after a search and thought I would give them a try considering the reasonable price and they looked durable. After breaking them in over a few days, they became my regular shoes, worn literally everyday, except for when I went to the gym or played sports. But, I was conformable if I had to jog or run in them if running late for a meeting or catching the tube or bus.The construction of the boots means that it is really pliant and has a lot of grip, but this also means that the sole has now worn down and I need to order a new pair, which I'm more than happy to do.My only criticism would be that the side zip is on the outside and not on the inside of the boots. an inside zip would mean that you can raise your inside foot up and unzip it easier than having to bend or squat down.

Good, but wear out quickly
I've liked this style of boots enough to go through two pairs. They look nice and are comfortable with good socks. The side zip is great. The issue like others have mentioned is the soles will wear thin and develop a crack. At that point when the ground is wet, they just absorb water and are near end of life. It's a shame too since the uppers are completely fine.I got about a year from each pair I've owned. The lower price made this tolerable, but I'm done now and won't touch these again.

Great looking boots but fast wearing
I've purchased these boots on a couple of occasions for £34. Overall, they look good and are comfortable. However, with regular use, they tend to last no more than six months, with the soles wearing quickly.
