Four PawsMagic Coat Tangles & Mats Dog Grooming Mat Removing Comb

This was recommended for use on severely matted human hair. My daughter's curly hair had such severe, thick mats that I thought we would have to cut them out. This tool was absolutely amazing! I used it to first break up the pieces and then comb them out.

Love this grooming tool. Easy to use and go all the way to the skin. And my dog loves it, he get very excited when he sees it and ready to be brushed.

I was totally surprised at the mat removing ability of this comb. It actually worked!!! Having a reversible head is very useful. I do wish it was a bit bigger since it works best on small mats. For larger mats you have to break it down in to smaller sections to get better performance with the comb. The dogs did not seem to mind me using it at all. If used frequently before mats start getting too big this comb should work well and maybe having to avoid the mat from having to be cut out completely. One thing I liked is that it does not seem to cut away excessively (stripping too much hair) which some mat removing combs do. The dogs I used this comb on were on long haired; sometimes a matter of just getting down to where the mat actually is by lifting the top fur.

I am very pleased with this product. I received it within a couple days. It is easy to use and gets through those dense mats. The blades are quite sharp so taking it slow is important. I find it cuts the hair rather than works through it. However there are some mats that need to be cut. I would recommend this product.

I've used these before, this one is absolutely junk. You could cut though a marshmallow with it. Don't waste your money trust me order the safari one
