Percorsi: L'Italia attraverso la lingua e la cultura (3rd Edition) - Standalone book

I purchased Percorsi as the recommended textbook for a beginning Italian language course at the local community college. The book is fast-paced with vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and cultural information about Italy. There are a lot of interactive conversations and dialogues that can be used in class, as well as exercises to do at home or in class, by oneself or with other classmates.There is, however, the Percorsi eBook which accompanies the above hardbound textbook for an additional price. It has both audio and video lessons that are used with the textbook, and it has student activities and assessment tests to assist in learning the language. With the 3rd Edition, there is also a movie, Ritorno a Roma, which helps with listening comprehension for each chapter of the textbook. Finally, there is an online version of the textbook (not downloadable) included in the eBook which makes purchasing the hardbound textbook unnecessary unless you want to impress people with your library.Overall, the eBook is essential; the textbook is nice to have and I don't regret purchasing it for the class. Flipping pages is frequently easier than searching for pages online.

The book came fast and was in better condition than expected! Great job.

The book itself is good, with lots of content and exercises. A very comprehensive guide for people wishing to learn Italian.However the book that arrived was in very bad condition. It has been written all over, and the binding is broken. As a rental I would expect some signs of wear and tear, but within reason. The version I received was in a very bad condition, but the semester was already underway and I couldn't send it back as I have classes every day and need a copy on me. I will be returning it at the end of the semester in the hope I can get a better copy for next term.

Text that I'm now using in class. Well organized and presented. I like the sequence of lessons.

renting was super easy and super cheap and returning it was easy since I kept the box i got it in.

The book is in terrible damage. The pages are detached from the spine of the book completely.

While the book did come quickly, it was not what I ordered. I ordered the student edition, as advertised above. Instead I received the non-resellable teacher's edition. When I got the book, I thought it was weird that there were 2 spaces on the cover, redacted with black tape. When compared with my teacher's copy I saw the black places on the cover would've read "Teacher's Edition, not for resale". In addition inside it was clearly meant for teachers, all the blanks were filled in and exercises were completed.
