Art Of Armor : Samurai Armor From The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection

I saw this exhibit during the spring of 2016 in Denver for a Humanities class. Unfortunatley I did not bring any spending money so I missed out on this book at the very end :( but I am pleased I have finally picked it up. My friend and I went and we are very glad we did. The exhibit was amazing, with lots of art, armor, weapons (a beautiful katana and naginata) among many other amazing things. There were so many things to see and admire, we ran out of time and had to rush through the end. Now about the book, it is a thick coffee table style book filled with information about each piece in the collection. There is everything from clothes, banners, weapons, armor, art. For those that did not see the exhibit or are planning too will enjoy this book. If you don't want to risk getting such a nice book from the used section of Amazon, the authors have a website where you can email and inquire for a copy (the same price, sometimes). I ordered mine used and it came in excellent condition from Texas book consignments.
