Just wanted to supplement the lighting around our pool, and thought this would be worth investigating. Hooks up to the central umbrella post with ease, and generates a LOT of light. This unit provides SOFT WHITE (slightly yellow-cast, not that unnatural blue-white light) - so it complements our candles and tiki torches. What's cool is that you can adjust to to shine down (like over a table/chairs) or UP - which casts a soft glow up into your umbrella shade at night. Depending on the color of your shade, it's a nice effect. The batteries seem to last fairly long; our light was left on all night during a heavy storm and was still bright the next morning. Well made; the clamping mechanism seems solid and you can program the light brightness at 3 levels. A great addition to your outdoor living.

This is an awesome little light! I also take it camping and can usually find a tree or something to attach it to and have come to really appreciate it's size and portability. Different light settings allow for enough lighting options depending on what you want/need. Would definitely buy again!

I felt I needed to share my experience with this item. I enjoy sitting outside, sipping tea while reading my kindle. I didn't want to get a harsh white light to ruin my zen so I got the soft yellow. It is very easy to install but there are a few things you should know. There is a little clasp that unlatches for you to put it on your umbrella pole, this clasp is very flimsy. My installation went off without a hitch but when it came time to replace the batteries the clasp broke, light fell, I live in SOBE so of course it was raining, and that was all she wrote for this light. This is where I'm not sure how many stars to give it bc it really is a nice light, very bright but the light itself is inconspicuous both when the umbrella is open and closed. I'm torn now between reordering another or trying to find a similar item that's built a little sturdier. For the price point tho this one can't be beat.

Fits my patio umbrella perfectly. I like that I can pick one of 3 color choices to set the lighting mood for outdoor evening entertainment. It’s very easy to operate and creates just the right amount of light. It’s very lightweight and I had not needed to change the batteries yet.

I needed lighting for our umbrellas. So many choices. Read the reviews. I ordered 2 different OYOCO units since they both sounded good and I wasn't sure which lighting (LED or Warm) would be most effective. This model here was the lowest cost with a gazillion good reviews-- so I was quite skeptical and almost didn't order it! Surprise when they arrived and I tested them out. It was a quite easy and decisive decision. This was the simplest to setup and use, had the best selectable lighting levels (button push for dim, medium, bright), and the naked unfiltered LED lighting was perfect to play games or entertain even up in the air at the top of the umbrella. Batteries last a long time with no noticeable lighting degradation. Only had to replace batteries when someone forgot to turn it off. The other more expensive Warm light OYOCO unit cost far more but was not as bright due to the Warm light lens filter--the lens disbursed the light in a way that made the light less illuminating under the umbrella.

I like the design and function. The power switch toggles to light just the inner set of LEDs, press again for just the right of LEDs, and press again for all LEDs on. When the light was brand new it was great. This is the second year/ season since the purchase. The battery contact in the compartment took on oxidation in the first season even though I didn’t leave it outside often, though a few nights found it left under the closed umbrella. Now in the second year the light malfunctioned, came on very dim or flashing intermittently after installing new batteries. I took the light apart, simply curious, to find cheap subpar wiring. The wire connecting the batteries through the hinge is fragile and too short. Open and closing of the light stresses the wire and I found mine broken off the contact. I replaced and upgraded the cheap wire and fixed the light. It took more time than the light is worth, but it’s back online for now. If you want a reliable light to go for more than one season, seek one with higher quality.

I have only had it for a couple of weeks so can't speak to durability but this light works well and is just what I was looking for. It gives enough light for people around a 10 chair outdoor table to easily see each other and what's on the table without being either blinding or too dim. It's also easy to put on since it opens and then locks, and the tension is enough to hold it in place. Great light at a good price!

Love this product, bought it to install on my offset patio umbrella. It’s easy to put up and take down and has multiple brightness settings. Makes for some lovely ambience for those warm summer nights!

Light the scene! Perfect for evenings and nights at the table under the umbrella. We purchased so we could play cards, have dinner with a drink at the table underneath the umbrella at night. Its just wonderful. Easy to install, and the different brightness settings are a bonus.

Die Leuchte ist schnell angekommen, Batterien rein und ab an den Schirm. Lässt sich leicht befestigen, vorausgesetzt man ist groß genug ;-) und nun abwarten, bis es dunkel ist. Die Lampe macht ein erstaunlich schönes, ausreichendes Licht und taucht meine kleine Lounge in eine kleine Insel im Garten. Ich habe die Lampe auch im geschlossenen Zustand am Schirm und auch Regen hat bisher nichts ausgemacht. Klare Empfehlung von mir.
