This shipped really fast! Here’s all the information I think you might need, if you don’t know much about this medication. It will smack ALL/ANY intestinal parasites. - my vet said so My 13 week old puppy was babysat by a family member. They rescued two puppies during my baby’s stay. (Total 9 days) They said the puppies they rescued pooped a worm the day I was picking my puppy up. I took my puppy to her vet the next day and they did a fecal test. Giardia came back positive on the test. They prescribed me this medication. I paid $48 through my vet. But my the other puppies needed to be treated. So I told my family about this medicine. They ordered it and did it according to weight for each dog. We treated total of four dogs using these Amazon ordered panacur medicines. ALL dogs were cleaned out and cured. Really easy to use and administer. Just some wet food and the powder. Three days. One dose a day. Each box comes with a total of three days worth of medicine. On the third day?? The two puppies pooped out eight worms. Roundworms. Disgusting. But it was definitely effective! They didn’t mind the taste. I don’t think they even tasted anything but the dog food. Use it. It’s great! And… way cheaper

For the second time, Giardia has hit our household. The first time was a foster dog, who passed it on to one of our dogs. The shelter provided their meds, and I bought Panacur for our other 2 dogs as a preventative. Works so well! Within a day and a half, they both had solid poos. This time, it was our own dog. What she has in common with our foster is that they both eat grass on walks. I ordered this for her, and our 3 other dogs as a preventative. One just started having symptoms, the same day. Giardia diarrhea is extra stinky. And I mean extra! If you have a puppy, a dog with health issues, or an unvaccinated dog, I would take them to the vet to rule out parvo. But a healthy dog should be fine as long you treat it quickly. I love the idea of treating them annually as a safe guard. I have now used it on 7 dogs, 4 without symptoms, and no side effects. I recommend washing all dog beds (I use Lysol laundry sanitizer), and cleaning with a bleach and water solution, and wash your hands regularly because it can be passed to humans. (It is the same as traveler’s diarrhea.)

Same medicine available at our veterinary hospital - easy to mix into soft food - seems to be effective - vet treated one of our purchased puppies with this to treat a giardia infection - pup was quite sick when received from breeder - larger dose package can be safely divided into doses for small dogs if you have access to a small/sensitive scale
