But I did a little more research and ended up finding out that nephrite jade can be softer than jadeite. So that eased my worries. Other than that I love the necklace and plan on getting a new chain to compliment my black tourmaline necklace. Review: It's pretty - I forgot that this wasn't jadeite, but nephrite is still jade, and I still get that smug sense of superiority over people who wear quartz.
