VAHDAM English Breakfast Tea Bags (100 Count) Black Tea in Pyramid Tea Bags

This tea is fresh! We have had several "batches" of this tea since each box is marked with the month and year of picking, blending & packaging, expiry, and a lot number. Each box we've had has consistent flavor and it tastes like fresh tea leaves. Now to be fair here in the US we are not known as great tea drinkers and up until last year our household has been mostly coffee drinkers. However, the acidity and bitterness of coffee has started to bother us more. We stumbled on to this tea in the office and it is the best black tea we have ever tasted. We steep our tea for ten minutes (I know that's too long) to get the most flavor and caffeine out of each bag and this tea is never bitter. It has a rich, almost creamy flavor and it really does taste like fresh tea leaves rather than the cardboard box taste of other teas. The founder of Vahdam Teas, Bala Sarda, sends a nice message about the company and how they are a family company that gives some of its profits to the education of the children of their tea workers. They seem to have good values that we appreciate so it makes the tea taste that much better. Try it, you'll like it!

Love this tea

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I really enjoy the chai loose leaf tea I purchased from this company. So I was mildly surprised when I received this beautiful box of teas separately packaged inside . It was beautiful. The teas themselves are fantastic, all are caffeine free and taste amazing. I have insomnia and the tea for reducing stress had me asleep in no time. I am over all very pleased with this set of teas, I would absolutely gift this to a tea drinker , the value for the money spent is so worth it. But I am gonna keep this set for myself 😁😁😁

If your British you may not be happy with this tea, I had to use two bags (large cup) to get a nice dark tea to go with the milk, that said it does have a nice malty taste. This was my first cup with it and I generally use loose leaf tea so it might get some time getting used to it.

The teas are not what I'm used to as a Westerner who drinks English teas. However, I find that I'm quickly getting used to Vadham teas and love their delicious, fresh flavor. The fact that the teas are good for me in various ways is also a selling point. I have recurring Epstein-Barr, so herbal teas are part of what my naturopath is using to help me heal. That's what first caught my eye regarding Vadham. I've just started to use them, and I'm interested to see how it goes. Meanwhile, the taste is fresh and interesting. I love the packaging. Do try it.

I ordered these after searching for a good strong black tea. This tea was exactly what I was looking for, tastes great! Taste: Bold, full bodied

I just ordered 3 gift sets. I do find the teas to be pricey in comparison to supermarket brands. Of course Vahdam teas are exceptional in flavor. Exceptional tea always comes at a price.I have tried both the loose teas and the tea bags. The loose teas are favored. I'm gifting these teas to those I love, in hope that they will love them as I love them and perhaps begin to treat themselves to these outstanding teas

Over the last few years, I've become somewhat of a tea aficionado. I've tried many brands, perfected my own little recipe, and have come to look forward to that perfect cup every morning--strong, flavorful, and reminiscent of teas I've had in India. When I read the reviews and the origin story--Vahdam's Product Description reels you in with alluring collocations as "perfect symphony", "garden-fresh teas"--I thought I might have found just my new favorite tea. And at almost 40 cents per tea bag (nearly 4 times what I'm paying for my current breakfast tea), it had to be amazing, right? Two days later, then, when I sat in my kitchen to sample tea from the "choicest tea plantations in India", you can say I was a bit shocked. I had spent 10 minutes steeping the tea only for it to taste like milky water. Not even Twinnings, hardly a fresh and robust gourmet tea, was this disappointing. Had I prepared this incorrectly? Surely, it must be user error. This morning, I was determined to taste the flavorful notes that some reviewers had described as subtle and complex as a good Pinot. Indeed, I would have even settled for any flavor of tea. This time around, I put in TWO tea bags and let it step for 15 minutes (see picture), at one point even tearing open one of the tea bags open so that the tea leaves could fully steep, weird floating things in my cup be damned! And the result: tepid, tap water. This is not a tea, this a scam. A beautifully created marketing pitch for a Maharaja with no clothes.
