StyleCare Essential straightening brush - including tourmaline ceramic coating for shiny, straight hair (model BHH880/00)/cable length 1.8 m

When I first plugged this in, one flash and then nothing. Tried another adapter plug, one flash and nothing. Hubby had an idea and checked the fuse in the plug adapter and it was only 1amp which was too low and blowing straight away. Hubby changed it for a 10amp fuse and it worked straight away. It’s a shame as most people won’t have the different fuses to change them. Once working it was amazing, highly recommend. I have thick hair and it straightened within 5 minutes!

Hello,I recently purchased this Philips StyleCare Essential straightening brush (model BHH880/00 from Amazon, but it came with a two-pin European plug rather than a UK plug. (photo added)The product listing did not mention that the item would come with a non-UK plug. As I am in the UK, I cannot use the product without purchasing an additional adapter.Could you please advise what you can offer in this situation? I would appreciate your advice before I purchase an adapter myself.Thank you.

Das erste mal hier bei Amazon wurde mir eines Gebrauchtes zugesandt. Allein die Verpackung sah von außen schon 100. genutzt aus. Viele Kratzer, die Ecken eingeschlagen, Farbe weg (weiße Stellen). Das war schon ein Indiz dafür, dass das Gerät 100% auch gebraucht war, so war es auch. Es hatte mini Kratzer hier und da, etwas verstaubt gewesen, aber nirgends ein Fremd-Haar etc. Naja ich habs trotzdem behalten. War eh für mich und es ist ja eine Garantie drauf, was soll‘s. War auch nicht soooo „teuer“, im Angebot für 25€ gekauft. Solange das Gerät einwandfrei seine arbeit tut, was will man mehr. Dennoch hier 1 Punkt Abzug, weil man Neuware kauft und Neuware haben möchte. So nun kommen wir zum Gerät.Ich habe richtig dickes und viele Haare. Das Glätten mit dem Glätteisen dauert ewig. Wobei ich sagen muss ich liebe es, wenn die Haare richtig schön glatt vom Glätteisen sind. Deshalb hab ich mir hier von dieser elekt. Bürste nicht viel erhofft.Aber es ist doch besser geworden als erhofft. Die Haare sind nicht richtig glatt wie vom Glätteisen, das ist klar. Aber dafür hat man viel Volumen und richtig schön Schwung in den Haaren.War jetzt das 1. Mal Benutzung. Werde weiter testen und ggf. Updates machen.Auf jeden Fall super geeignet für feines Haar und für Haare mit wenig Schwung und Volumen. Denn das kann diese elekt. Bürste wunderbar.Ich habe ca. die Hälfte an Zeit gespart wie wenn ich mit Glätteisen glätte oder mit einer Rundbürste und Föhn. Auch mit dieser elekt. Brüste hat es eine Weile gedauert, aber es war entspannt, weil ich einfach kreuz und quer in die Haare gebürstet habe. Ich habe die elekt. Bürste erst direkt am pitschnassem Haar ausprobiert. Ging auch aber da hätte es definitiv noch länge gedauert. Aber bei feinem Haare vielleicht auch hier kein Problem. Aber bei dickem Haar nicht geeignet, also habe ich erst die erstmal mit dem Föhn trocken geföhnt und dann die elekt. Bürste verwendet. Die Haare werden ganz schön trocken. Ich hab während des Bürstens viel Pflege in die Haare einmassiert und das Ergebnis war dann toll.1.Update - gekauft 11/2023 und jetzt 01/2026 noch immer noch im Gebrauch und sehr zufrieden!!! Ich benutze nur noch das Gerät hier, kein Glätteisen mehr. Meine Haare sind gesund, keine Schäden. Jetzt weiß ich auch, wie ich den zu bedienen habe und bekomme meine Haare schnell und unkompliziert glatt. Mein Haar ist nicht platt, hat ein schönes Volum. Bin mehr als zufrieden!Ich hoffe, ich konnte helfen.
