Fun game
Fun game with little down time so no one gets bored waiting for their turn. I am still not sure how much control you do or don't have over your score- there is an element of luck- but the luck mitigation mechanisms are there, to a point.

You do not need to enjoy sushi to like this game
So I had a damaged game delivered, and then my replacement copy arrived. We played the game and it was so much fun I immediately gifted the slightly damaged copy to my sister and opted to just eat the cost on replacement. That’s how good and fun this game is. Very similar to a “roll and write” but more a “roll and place”. Good strategy and group fun, very simple. I feel like you could easily get two copies and play with up to 12 people. I immediately purchased both sushi go games merely on the strength of this single game. Highly recommended!

Play Sushi Go! with dice? Yes!!
If you liked Sushi Go!, or Sushi Go Party, and you like chucking dice, you will like this version of the game. I love all of those things, so this was a day one purchase for me. I have played the game a handful of times now with my family and we have all really enjoyed it. Even my 3 year old was able to get the mechanics of the game down, as it is pretty simple to get. On your turn, just roll, pick one dice, and shift your dice to the player on the right. Wash rinse repeat until all of the dice are gone. Whoever has the most points at the end of three rounds is the winner. The dice are a really nice quality custom dice that feel great in your hands. Give it a roll at your next game night.

The dice version of Sushi Go! is a fun and quick filler game
Whether or not you've played Sushi Go! you'll find this a fun and quick game. And if you prefer the more tactile feeling of dice over playing cards, you're not getting a whole lot less if you go the Sushi Roll route only.Played over three rounds, every turn you roll dice and pick one. You may opt to use a take-out menu token to reroll dice, or a chopsticks token to exchange dice with another player's dice pool, before you pick a dice to place, but that's the extent of your turn. Each player gets a board that shows what each die has on its six faces and also what they score. It is one of those games that will feel slightly foreign for the first round of the first game you ever play; this is just what happens with lots of iconography that you may not be familiar with. But you'll be completely fine going forward with iconography and strategy.Great to add to your game collection for a light-weight family game or as a filler game. The only critique I've heard from anyone that encounters this game is they all agree the game box is too big; especially compared to the compactness of the tin box that Sushi Go! comes in.

Very fun!
My wife and I bought this as something to do on downtime during vacation. This has quickly become one of our favorite games to introduce to people on game night. Highly recommend

Considering buying a second copy
I like how I was able to learn this game while reading through the rules - I figured out how to play the game after one run-through and that was less than 10 minutes.I like the dice rolling and I like the feeling of the dice - they're printed well and are cute and satisfying to play with. The player boards are also very nice - thick and sturdy and functional - it shows the value of the points and the pictures refer to the number of the sides of the dice.I actually like this game so much...I might buy a second version to combine so it can accommodate more than 5 players and add house rules for the swap rule.

Fun game anyone can play
I'm a big fan of the original card version of this game, Sushi Go, and this dice variant did not disappoint! It's a fun, easy to learn game that I'm certain all ages can enjoy. There's a good mixture of luck and strategy, and it makes for an excellent addition to a game night with family and friends. Worth the buy!

Love this game!
We had our copy stolen, but we love this game too much to not have a copy... So of course, we purchased a new copy. Easy to learn and fun to play! And way easier to set up that Sushi Go.

Love this game
Got this for my 8 year old nieces birthday, after playing with my mates. Had a blast regardless of it being with 8 year olds or 30+ year olds.It is a game you can take lightly and have some fun with, or you can plot to sabotage your opponents while boosting yourself, mercilessly pilfering a wayward sashimi on your opponents board and leaving their combo at 0 points.Would heartily recommend.
