Pure Garden 82-5629 Solar Powered Outdoor Lights LED Stake Spotlight Fixture, 13.5", Black, 8 Set

I wrote a review about them before and I wanted to put some updates. However, I can not find my review, either I didn't publish it right or Amazon ate it.I have another 6 sets of Rosewill Solar Garden Lights. The solar panel is almost twice as big as this one's; And their light seems brighter. However, they don't really last much, only about 3 hours or a little more. I find them dim away after midnight. They are priced 19.99 now. And one of them has stopped working after 1 month.These lights really last from dust to dawn! I'm kinda amazed by them. They didn't come in as clear or neat as the other ones look. You can tell that they are cheap made. But who cares: they work and they last! So far, they haven't broken or anything.

These are almost exactly as described.They are not as bright as I thought they would be. They came on time, they were easy to put together. One problem I had was that there were no instructions about how they worked - only about putting them together. So they were in my yard for two days soaking up the sun but not working at all when it got dark. I was on the verge of sending them back when a neighbor pointed out to me that there was an on/off switch under the cap.I had not seen the switch because the cap comes already secured to the globe area, and I only had to add the leg part. Once they were turned on, they worked fine, but not very bright.Also, it has now been two weeks and one light has quit working. I checked the battery and it is fine. The connection in the light is faulty.I am using these to show where steps are in a dark area leading to the parking space in front of my house. They do help show where the steps are, but I just wish they were a little bit brighter. But for such a small amount of money, they are helping.

Ever wonder what to do when the power goes out and you don't want to light candles?A few years ago I bought a few Lid Lights to use with the small jelly jars. They charge well in my sunny kitchen window, and light up each night to act as night lights...and...they have served as emergency lights during power outages. But at about $10 per light, they can be expensive if you want more than just a couple. Of the three I had, one of the bulbs burned out too soon, and another is on its last legs.I really didn't want to spend another $30 for replacements, so I went looking for a different option. That's when I found these lights.So what I did yesterday was to put just the top (without the stake) into one of those small jelly jars and charged it all day. Turned the light on, and it stayed lit from 11 PM last night to 7 AM this morning. Who knows how long it might have stayed going if the sun hadn't come up. So I got a full 8 hours of light. Granted, it's not spotlight quality. The inner cover is translucent, so it's more like the soft glow from a 15 watt incandescent bulb. But it seems to be adequate for emergency lighting where you only need enough illumination to keep from walking into a wall or falling over furnitureThere are 8 lights in the set, and I'm testing them one by one. So far, I like the product, and will give an update once I've tested all of them.UPDATE Oct 17, 2013Tested all the lights...they work fine. What it says on the box is true...a full day of sunlight will keep them lit all night. Cloudy days are a bit of a problem. I came up with a solution, though. On cloudy days I put the lights (which are sitting in jelly jar glasses without the stakes in the bottom) under artificial light. My kitchen light stays on all day, so that's where they go until bedtime, then it's back to my kitchen window, where they shine all night. I had them in the small jelly/canning jars and they were cute, but then I found some larger ones with a cut-glass design on them and they're so pretty! Like I said above, just don't put the stakes on them. Set them over the mouth of whatever glass you plan to use, and you're good to go.

I bought a set these very inexpensive lights a couple years ago. They all worked and provided wonderful lighting outside for my path and pond. I liked them so much I bought sets for my friend's yards. I live in Alaska and the winter darkness is long so the solar batteries do not get charged. Often they are covered with snow and then are also unable to charge. But, as Spring starts to near, the sun is out longer, the weather warms, and as the snow melts, these lights start glowing! Now, at the vernal equinox, they are charged fully on a sunny day and stay lit throughout the night. I have 7 sets now, so out of 56 lights, only 2 have stopped working. That's not bad for what they cost. I love that they are no maintenance and do not run up my already exorbitant electric bill. Remember though, they are not very bright and are best for mood lighting only. The poles are cheap plastic and would easily break if bumped into. Mine are attached to fencing so do not get bumped and damaged. Consider that when planning to purchase them.

La calidad es baja y se rompen fácil. Funcionan bien y me llegaron a tiempo. Si los cuidas pueden durarte por mucho tiempo

this is a cheep lights I ewer seen too bad that Amazon selling it. Like Amazon product but this is garbage made in China

COMPRE 3 CAJAS DE ESTAS LUMINARIAS, O SEA 24 LAMPARAS, RESULTA QUE DOS DE ELLAS NO PRENDEN PARA NADA, LA LUZ QUE EMITE EL FOCO ES MÍNIMA Y SE TERMINA APAGANDO EN UNOS CUANTOS MINUTOS, HAY UNA TERCERA QUE TAMBIÉN SE APAGA MUY RÁPIDAMENTE, DEL RESTO NO ME PUEDO QUEJAR. HABRÁ ALGUNA MANERA DE SOLUCIONAR ESTE PROBLEMA?

Me sievieron mucho para iluminar el camino de la casa en la noche cuando uno llega, dura la bateria e iluminan bien

El envio llego bien desde los Estados Unidos. La caja de las luces es solo de carton, no tiene nada impreso como aparece la imagen del anuncio. Las luces estan todas amontonadas dentro de la caja con solo un pedazo de plastico burbuja como proteccion. El paquete no incluye instrucciones, ni garantia, ni especificaciones del producto. Las lamparas son todas de plastico de mediana calidad, no creo que duren mucho al ser expuestas al sol, la lluvia, el polvo etc. La iluminacion del LED blanco de cada lampara es muy tenue. No recomiendo la compra del producto. He visto lamparas similares, en calidad y acabados, en Waldos y un poco mas economicas.
