I am so happy I gave this product a chance. I decided to buy because I noticed my little one was always fussy right before bowel movements and sometimes, it would wake him up out of his sleep. I use this brand for vitamin D drops , so I decided to order the gripe water. I gave it to him and he looked so relaxed immediately after. He passed gas and had bowel movements without a fuss. He also slept for hours! I like that i can actually read the ingredients and there aren't many. It also comes in glass, which is a plus in our household. Just make sure you put in the fridge after using and use within 4 weeks after opening. This product does what its intended to do and calms the baby down, while relieving discomfort from gas. I definitely recommend! Its very effective and worth the price.

We had a few days where the baby (1 month old) was being extra fussy, and gassy-er than usual so we bought this to try. The first time we used it the baby had a coughing fit afterwards. Our pediatrician explained that it made her saliva thicker and that's why she choked up that night. It seemed she was going through a growth spurt at the time and was cluster feeding so much we had to supplement her feeds. Once the growth spurt phase went away she still had fussy evenings with us, and a few afternoons where she seemed malcontent in general. We tried the gripe water with her two more times, and made sure to administer it extra slowly, but did not see that it made any kind of difference. Ultimately I decided I'd track my food intake and changed to eating a much stricter clean diet and that seems to have made a huge difference. Not convinced the gripe water really did anything for us other than set our nerves on end with the coughing reaction.
