Love these gloves for tig welding
Still as soft as ever but the tanning process has changed recently as they are now very dusty from the sanding or buffing part of the leather work that gets all over every thing when they are new. I have found that very lightly fanning the suede part of the gloves with the flame of a propane torch seems to eliminate the leather dust and they are still super soft. The dust problem did not exist until recently so may go away soon as well. You might order the next size down from you normal size as dear skin is very stretchy when shaved this thin so your normal size might seem a little baggy. Great tig gloves

took about 5 seconds to realize this is hot but no burns to fingers and no burns to gloves so this one is sold great gloves and cheap price
Was a little apprehensive at first, put them on and thought man my hands are gonna catch fire in the forge. I must say though even with them feeling kinda flimsy they do the job and do it well. I even picked up a hot piece of steel with them thinking it was some cold coal, took about 5 seconds to realize this is hot but no burns to fingers and no burns to gloves so this one is sold great gloves and cheap price. If they end up being crappy I will revise but for now 5 star excellent.Okay so they ended up being crappy, left index and middle finger are now exposed. Did not tear at stitching fabric has just begun to disintegrate, while they are intact they are excellent but the fabric breaking down like it has is not acceptable. Btw I am a righty so the left hand problems don't make much sense to me.

These Gloves are Terrible!!!
These gloves have some kind of fuzz all over them that sheds everywhere: on your clothes, the work and the tig torch. The weld pool contaminates immediately, and a tungsten change is required, even as you get started welding. I own other Tillman gloves, but now I now always to look for top grain. I'm either returning these or throwing them away...

Good, but easily cut.
These offer significantly better dexterity and feel than heaver hide gloves, but the cost for that dexterity is durability. I was able to slice the palm of these completely through on a rough edge of some stock within the first couple hours of use.I recommend them but when you buy, you might want to throw a heavy needle and some thread or a roll of duct tape in the cart while you’re at it.

Bought these Tig gloves to see if they are better.. YES they are better
I purchased this pair to learn. and learn I did. I am learning how to Tig Weld. I bought a local pair of Mig gloves for protection. Bought these Tig gloves to see if they are better..YES they are better! Easier to manipulate the piece I am working on, but still give protection from Tig Heat.Glad I bought them.Be aware these gloves do give off "peach fuzz" At first I was alarmed and frustrated on this Leather Fuzz seems to get into everything I touch,But it seems to be Just cause it is new.

Great Tig gloves.
Very comfortable. Perfect fit for my giant hands. I got a large when I usually wear an XL, and they fit perfectly. Excellent dexterity for feeding rod. They aren't great for serious heat, so be ready to use a Tig finger or a second glove when working in tight areas where you have to contact your bead.

great dexterity
very thin and light weight, easy to manipulate tig rod and prefect combo when paired with a tig finger or silica sleeve, con little to no heat protection, slippery feeling when handling filler rod at first.

These gloves are terrible..
Once I opened my package I knew I had been ripped off. I made the mistake of ordering online because I work so many hours and can't get to a welding store in time. These don't feel like leather at all and quickly fall apart. I would rather use Atlas gloves from the gas station than waste my time again with this bs..
