Funny and relatable book, Clint always delivers!
Oh my goodness, Clint does it again! Love this guy, so funny and completely relatable. I laughed and cried and laughed again. Yes, some stories overlap the blog, but there's enough separate material here to make it totally worth it. As a wife, it definitely helped me understand how my husband probably thinks about things. I highly recommend this book to new parents, expecting parents, or anyone in the trenches with the toddler to tween set.Note: Like many people, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews before making almost any purchase, online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I am always honest with my reviews. If I love something, I shout it from the rooftops. And if I hate it, I have no problem telling you that too. Wonderful
Like any parent, I have hardly any personal time, but I managed to finish this book in 2 nights, starting the day I got it out of the mailbox. Wonderful book. It is funny, I laughed many times. It is also poignant. I cried like a baby twice. That is what has actually stuck with me longer. It is wrapped in humor, but the author is talking about deep things... I was confused about the title and what the book would actually be about. The book covers all of the "mistakes" he feels he has made as a husband and a father. I think it actually might serve to help some people out in their marriage and parenting journey, as words of understanding, warning, and wisdom. But that said, most of all, it is fun, because he is an entertaining writer...and as someone with no personal time, what I read had better be fun. And this is. The book does not contain his now famous diarreah in a gas station story, sadly. That's okay, still is a 5/5, it's a wonderful read.

I read this book to my husband
I've been following Clint on Instagram for some time and finally caved on getting this book that he was promoting on Amazon for my husband and I to read. And it. Was. Worth it. It's one of those books that you start reading and you struggle to put down. If I could have binge read this in bed, I absolutely would have. Unfortunately, six kids will not allow that. But instead, my husband let me read it to him. He is stuck looking at a computer and reading stuff all day at work and I knew he wouldn't read it. So we would put the kids to bed and I would sit down and read or we would be traveling to go visit family and I would be reading the whole car ride. You read it and you feel like you're reading a part of your own life, and more than half the book, you're just laughing through. I don't know how many times we would get to a part that that was just so hilarious and we would both be cry laughing, trying to compose ourselves so we didn't wake the baby. There were so many parts in the book that spoke to us and I loved how we would have long conversations about some of those things. I already caved and bought silence is a scary sound. Absolutely worth the buy and I seriously cannot recommend this book enough.

I just finished reading it (and it was delivered like 3 days ago)
Buy this!!!!! I just finished reading it (and it was delivered like 3 days ago)! There were times I was crying because it was so relatable (those precious kid/parent moments) and I also would laugh out loud at other parts. Clint does an awesome job of story telling that make me want to hear more. The way the moments of life are recalled, put me there like I was someone watching the whole scene played out. I probably have an advantage because my children are 4 and 7; very relatable!! You should buy this book for any young parent(s) in your life...or yourself! You’ll laugh and realize you’re not alone. Thanks for sharing your life Clint! Oh, and can I have some of the patience Mel has? Cuz she seems to really know when it’s appropriate to yell and when it’s not 🤗

I want to be friends with the Edward's
Recommend this book to every married couple. This book is relatable in every single chapter. I cried during certain chapters, although the entire book is funny, because my husband and I have been there in the exact same situations, same arguments many times. If you would rather read a book that is not a self help book that gives you 101 steps on how to stop being yourself and rather one that makes you feel normal for stupid fights and hilariously accurate thoughts concerning your children - get this, read it and then ask your spouse to read it, if they are reluctant withhold any type of physical contact and just repeatedly bring up the book and ask what chapter they are on.....

Cute and Sweet
I'm Sorry is a cute and sweet tribute to his family from a father who learned a lot. It was nice to read a male's reaction to parenthood, and his obvious admiration for the coping capabilities of his wife are genuine. However, I felt a lot of it was overkill. There are constant reminders of how overworked, underpaid, busy, etc. they are as parents of three small children, to the point that I wanted to tell him, yes, I got that. Maybe because I am a GREAT-grandparent, a lot of the issues seem like normal, young family life to me. I would recommend this for new parents, to remind them that they are not alone in their struggles.

HE IS SORRY...but you won't be!
Easy and delightful reading; Mr Edwards CLAWS his way out of the marital dog-house with this hilarious and heart-felt compilation of brutally honest parenting essays!! Who is his audience? EVERY PARENT ON THE PLANET. A self-proclaimed "late bloomer", this author has managed to learn important life lessons that well-meaning women can only DREAM of their mate's comprehending. Shout-out to the man who gets it, and to all the wonderful men out there breaking down the bullsh*t barriers of "traditional" parenting roles. Clint Edwards represents the best of the modern-man, husband, and (most importantly) DADDY! Well done.

If you think you know everything there is to know about family? You need to read this book.
This book was so honest, and relatable! I read it in one night. I laughed, cried, had to run to the bathroom so I didn’t pee my pants from laughing, and cried some more. Although I’ve been married for a while, and have 6 kids, there were still so many “ah ha!” moments for me! I want to recommend this book to every couple, new and old- but especially every couple who is about to have a baby. I think this will be a staple in baby shower gifts. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to write this book for everyone!

Meh.
Liked reading his Instagram posts but I couldn't really get into the book. Wasn't as funny or touching as I had hoped. Maybe my expectations were a bit high after reading the good reviews.

Must buy!!!
A must read for new parents (or for parents who think they got it going on) I laughed out loud in some parts, totally relate in others, and cried with the last chapter. As I read it through, it also made me think on my own ways of parenting (I have a 3 year old little girl who pushes my boundaries here and there), how wrong I’ve been and how blessed I am of having a supporting and loving wife. I will probably make a few more mistakes, but it’s good to know we are not alone in this journey... thanks for sharing part of your life. Way to go Clint!! Saludos desde México =)

Not what I expected.
Bought it as a gift for my son thinking it was a comical look at real life situations..my son said he had to stop reading it when he realized, as the father, everything is HIS fault. I was disappointed.
