I own a Nordic stove top dome smoker Nordic Ware 365 Indoor/Outdoor Kettle Smokerand really love it for whole chickens and large pork shoulders, but it is too small for 4 chops, corn on the cob and other large meals. This smoker is fabulous! Although the info says it is 11x15 inches, those are the exterior dimensions. The interior cooking surface (food tray) is approximately 8 1/2 x 12. That is a good amount of room for most everything though. My learning curve from the Nordic taught me to line both the bottom pan and the drip tray in foil. I've also learned to put the smoking chips around the edges of the bottom pan, so the smoke can get up to the food. There is only a small space around the edges of the drip tray that allow the smoke to rise up from below. Salmon only took 12 minutes to cook, instead of the longer time suggested in the recipe book so watch your food carefully and check on it. I have a nice list now, of cooking times.I ordered a perforated quarter sheet pan Crestware 9 by 13 by 1-Inch Perorated Quarter Sheet Pan to use for delicate fish, loose corn, and other things that may fall through the grid of the food tray. Being 9 x 13 it should fit. I will update in a couple of days when the pan gets here.UPDATE: That perforated quarter sheet pan did not fit due to the rounded edges of the smoker. It's a really nice pan, and I will use it for pizza instead. I have purchased some foil grilling sheets with perforations that I cut to fit. They work perfectly and allow the smoke to penetrate the food. Foil pie pans and small (5x7) drip pans also work great with corn and smaller size vegetables.

I smoked fish, hamburgers, and cauliflower. It was all delicious. I’m sold.

In November of 2023, I ordered 4 of these Cameron Smoker Gift Box Sets here on Amazon as Christmas presents while they were on a huge sale. Now, 3 months later, I still have not received my shipment.I rated the Smoker product because I had been gifted one Christmas a year ago and love how quickly and easily you can get a nicely smoked product using the simple but effective Cameron Stovetop Smoker.The product is great but this seller is not and does not follow through. This is such a great product, that I can only suspect that these sellers are not directly tied to the Cameron company. There is no communication effort from them after several attempts to contact them through Amazon. I have finally requested that they reship my order but no response.Out of all of my dealings with Amazon over the years, this is the first really bad experience with a less-than-honorable seller. Based on what I have experienced with these guys, I do not believe the seller intends to honor or fulfill this purchase. If these folks actually are the Cameron's Smoker Company, I am so very disappointed.

I first tried this smoker in my electric oven but couldn't get it to smoke. I followed the one-step oven instructions in the manual but the wood chips looked unused after the full cooking time. But then I tried it on my stovetop on medium heat and it worked perfectly!I smoked 6 small chicken breasts in 20 minutes... So tender and juicy. It took me 5 minutes to clean and dry the smoker. Then I smoked 5 small salmon pieces in 10 minutes. My husband loved them and kept saying how good it was.It was all so quick and easy and our place smelled AMAZING. Plus no smoke leaked out. I covered the top tightly with aluminum foil before sliding the lid on. I didn't even need to use the stove exhaust fan. I can't wait to use this smoker again! ~Art's wife

Smoked some salmon with cherry wood it was delicous

I cooked 2 cornish hens and the taste of the apple wood was great. The second time I cooked a 5 pound prime rib. The mesquite flavor was embedded in the meat. On both occasions the meat was juicy. I bought regular sized wood chips because I wanted to make sure they didn't burn out before the meat was done. This is perfect for a family of 4. I don't know how to smoke on the grill. Now I dont need to learn. Hands down one of my favorite kitchen gadgets of 2023.

I ordered the product and immediately realized that the interior grill rack was missing. I contacted product support and was told that they would not do anything about it whatsoever because it was bought on Amazon. It would not have cost Cameron a plug nickel to ship me the grill rack, so I have had to use one that does not fit from a toaster oven. I use a lot of big black file clips around the ends and edges, and it keeps most, but not all, of the smoke inside. I use it inside and there is a smoky aroma in the house, but it is not resistant to a spray aerosol freshner. Flavor is fabulous.

This is a well made smoker would thoroughly recommend although a little expensive for what essentially is a steel box hence only 4 stars

The smoker arrived in perfect condition. I washed and used it to smoke sausages right away. The amount of wood I used (as instructed) was such a small amount compared to the total 3 tubs that it comes with (used maybe 1% of the total wood that it comes with it).The smoke did not billow out too much and was manageable with my stove fan and with a window slightly open. I followed the sausage recipe that was in the recipe booklet. Turned out great. Will use many times during the winter. The instructions also say that you can use it on a BBQ grill or on hot coals when camping. Great value for the price, especially if you don't own or want to buy a whole outdoor smoker.
