Colorful Fun
A child can play with the balls or just enjoy being inside the playhouse. There are plenty of ways to play from tossing balls on the roof, rolling them on shelves, putting them in a mailbox, or even through a ball-sized hole in the door. I appreciated that the door has a large enough gap when closed that it doesn't pinch little fingers, because slamming that door repeatedly is our little one's favorite thing to do. Update: We've had the ball house for over a year now, and I'm pleased how the play value has continued. When Baby Girl was younger, she'd crawl about and pull herself up to cruise the inside. She enjoyed playing with the balls and loved when the adults threw them into the tubes. As a toddler, she can throw the balls onto the top of the house herself, but her favorite game is to stand at the counter and pretend she has a restaurant serving bubble tea. Now that we've had the ball house for some time, I can point out the features that don't work or need improvement, but they are minimal and don't impact the enjoyment negatively. 1. The ball launcher is a bust. A small child can't flip it hard enough to get the ball on top of the house; an adult can do it, but the ball launcher will pop off with that much force. We've given up on it, and Baby Girl uses it as a spoon to scoop up her balls in prep for her bubble tea. We've all been force-fed with that spoon, so thanks Step2 for making the edges smooth (you will eat it, and you will like it). 2. The pitcher and pot that came with the ball house are puzzling. The wide one doesn't fit flat on any surface Baby Girl wants to use to "cook." The skinny one is too small, and the balls get stuck in it. We keep a plastic fork on hand to help scoop them out, but that's frustrating for Baby Girl when they get stuck and she can't remove them herself. 3. The unit has holes to push balls through and a mailbox Baby Girl adores. If there was a flat surface to "cook" on, it would add to the play value immensely. I like the unit is light enough that we can pull it around when we want to relocate it (or vacuum under it). I like that it's big enough for Baby Girl to grow into several more years, yet small enough it doesn't take up much room (it's really not large enough for adults to enter, but we try because Baby Girl insists on customers). I've read several reviews complaining about the balls being lightweight and thin. I consider this a plus, as we've all been beaned by Baby Girl's errant ball tosses--she has a surprising violent throw--and none of us have been damaged; neither has the wall or furniture. We haven't had any balls collapse, which is surprising as Baby Girl walks on them. We did buy another batch of balls that work with the ball house just because we like plenty when we get crazy throwing them on top. There are few toys that have kept Baby Girl's interest as much as her ball house over the past year.

Cute little house!
This is a very story very cute little play house. The ball runs are super fun and keep them entertained. There are ball runs on the bottom and the top levels for smaller and older kids. Easy to use for all ages. Very thick plastic. Our 3 year old will try to climb it and it hasn’t tipped over, so very sturdy. It’s mostly easy to clean. Obviously the longer it sits in the elements, the more build up of dirt and debris there will be. It does take up a little bit of space so be sure to measure if you’re limited on space.

Perfect persent for a one year old
This was the perfect present for my one year old! He loves to open and shut cabinets, and loves balls. He lite up when he saw this and has enjoyed playing in it every day. We have it in the house just as it's still cold outside, but we intend to bring it outside. Putting it together was another story. There are a lot of screws with no holes, so putting the screw through two pieces of plastic took some work. That night was annoying and miserable. Luckily my son loved it so it was worth it.

Fun and clever toy, but it has its flaws
My wife and I bought this for our 15 month old, and he seems to enjoy it. I think he'll like it a bit more when he's a little older though. Assembly took about 45 minutes or so, and was pretty easy. The only downside to assembly is that there are no pre-drilled holes for the large screws, but there are slight divots that show where to place the screws. Use a drill, and things will go very smoothly. PROS: Just a neat concept overall. Plenty of places for the balls to go, and plenty of balls included (20). Durable construction. Large enough for more than one child. SLIGHT ANNOYANCES: The balls more often than not don't end up staying in the green slotted base at the bottom after traveling through the curved purple tubes. The balls will bounce in and then right out. If there are already balls in there, other balls will hit them and then bounce out. Balls can get stuck in the small pitcher if you're not careful. CONS: Lack of screw holes (as mentioned above) Incredibly non-durable balls. I'm waiting for my son to step on them and crush them. Squeezing them too hard could even ruin them. Overall, I'm glad we bought this.

Happy Toddler = Happy Dad Here 😊
While waiting for the 2 day prime shipping I went to my local Meijer store and bought a 100count bag of ball pit balls! I put about half of them in there. I based this on the reviews I read with people saying the low quality of balls this comes with. Regular store ball pit balls work great! So, with my cordless drill and a Philips head screwdriver for the 4 main roof down tubes, this build was a snap! I found the directions satisfactory (possibly in color or reference of what color each part is) would of been a bonus but no complaints on instructions overall...It took me apx an hour to have completed from start to finish. I suspect everything went so smoothly since my wife and toddler were in bed asleep. No distractions at all lol I personally enjoyed assembling this ball house for our child at midnight just knowing how happy his reaction is going to be in the morning...Quality control did their part on this one! Everything lined up, tightened down and pieced together nicely (no need to go too over tighten) just my opinion. Even the factory box this came in was A+ with no dings or dents. Big thanks to the UPS driver! 👍🏻

Lots of fun for 3 toddlers
We got this for our triplets for their first birthday. I was so excited to set it up for them, and they loved it instantly. That was 4 months ago and they are still playing with it everyday. They can't reach the top yet but like watching the balls come down the tubes, or just taking them in and out of the mail box and the sides of the play house. My only two negatives on the house are that half the holes on ours were not pre-drilled so assembly took a bit longer, and the catapult on the back comes off often or when you use it sometimes the ball flies right into the playhouse where the other children are. Neither of these things are big enough issues it changes my rating though. I would definitely buy again.

Happy with purchase
I was concerned reading some reviews but all the parts were there (except 2 screws but i had some here), it’s a great height for my 2 year old grand and my 1 year old loves playing in it too and putting the balls in the areas he can reach. So really it’s good from ages 1 and up I’d say. They’ve had it about a month now and play with it daily, climb on it as well and is holding up with no issues. Directions were easy to follow, was able to screw the screws in with a drill easily enough even though there were no predrilled holes. I pretty much read the directions and handed the pieces to my daughter that she needed next and had it all put together in about 40 mins. Very happy with purchase. The balls are soft but no fatalities yet. They live watching the balls trickle down in the different areas

Brilliant
Bought for my sons first birthday as he is obsessed with footballs. This is a very sturdy house and has lots of learning of cause and effect through play. His older brothers are 7 and 9 years old and love to play with him in the house. Great toy. Highly recommend.
