I wasn’t sure if I wanted to order these barrettes after reading the reviews but I thought I would go ahead and give it a try because I wanted a long thin barrette just like this one.A lot of the other reviews said that they had problems with the Barrette cracking and breaking in half. I’ve worn these barrettes many many times. And I was so worried about it breaking and cracking that every time I wore one I would put an extra one in my purse to have on hand just in case I would need to replace the one I was wearing. But happily, I can report that I really love these and I’ve been using them for months and I have not yet had one that has broken. I would say they’re not the highest quality of Barrette, but they do look stylish, and they have worked for me. So yes, I would make this purchase again. And I did because I bought a package for a friend.My hair type is shoulder length and I have fine hair but enough of it to fill the barrette.

Pretty and Stays Put
Very pretty in the hair. Appears durable. Time will tell. The best feature is the rubber grip so it stays put. Longer so it holds more hair when pulled back.

Nice Barettes
I wanted a longer barrette for my half up half down hairstyle. This one is pretty and seems nice quality. I took off one star because it doesn’t grip the hair so is not super secure. Otherwise these are just what I wanted.

Not as easy to unhinge as should be... a different way of clipping shut and open to me.
I really have to learn to use them... hate to really evaluate this early.. They look good, but the closure is harder for me than I had ho ped... and completely different. The length is great!

Very easy to break
Broke first time I used it. Would not recommend.

Stays put, and so do the wisps!
I liked the colors that came. I also really liked the non-slip covering on the bar portion of the hair clip. My hair stayed clipped in until I took it out 6 hours later. I normally have wisps that escape 10 minutes after I put my clip in! Well-done!

Very difficult clasp
The barrettes looked great but the clasp was difficult to close and open. I returned after trying.

Great product and value
Great clips! The mechanism works better that I thought it would. They’re perfect for me, but if you have great big gobs of hair like a horse’s mane, you need something different.
