Its a decent tie. The stitching is good for the price. It is a standard length. Im not a robot this tie is just a decent for the price.

Our son needed a tie for a school concert and this fit the bill nicely. Being made of polyester the feel is a bit cheap but it looks just fine. It is slightly less shiny than the picture (which I think is a good thing). It is thinner than I expected because I didn't pay attention to the part of the description that said that the 2" is the width of the widest point. A lot of the tie is 1 and 1/8 th to 1 and 1/4. It is not made of all one piece of fabric. It is pieced but the part that is pieced is on the back of the neck so would be hidden by a shirt collar. It seems to be well sewn with no loose threads or uneven stitches. It has a loop on the back of the wider end to slip the narrower side through after it's tied to keep your tie tidy. A nice touch for a kid who had never worn a tie before.In short- great tie for someone who doesn't need to wear ties very often. Looks fine up close, looks great from far away.

First I want to start by saying that I have worked for many years at private golf clubs, where looking sharp is a must. With that said i burn through ties and shoes very quickly. It seems within the last two years tie prices have gotten out of hand. Alfani which use to be a bottom end "Armani" knock off brand at JCPenny, has found its way into Macys with ties starting at $55.Alfani makes good ties, but they are by no means exceptional. They are standard quality that one would pay at most $25 for. After this happened I quit buying ties from Macy's. They mock up bottom end brands as if they are something to brag about.This tie looked very similar in dimensions to other ties I own and with the good reviews i decided to buy it.Pros:Good straight stitchingQuality MaterialFits wellFor others on here saying the tie is "cheap" or "to shiny" know that this is not the case. Yes it is a shiny tie and the finish is suppose to be that way. However it is no more shiny they any of my big brand name ties I have. It is by no means cheap. The quality of this tie meets or exceeds your $55 department store tie.Buy it, you wont regret it.

I purchased this tie as a last minute OMG moment. I had to attend a gala and someone had spilt something on my Ralph Lauren tie the week before. My dry cleaner told me the RL tie wouldn't be ready in time for my upcoming gala. So I panicked. My friend told me just buy a cheap alternative tie for the event. I was very nervous because I went to 2 stores in Manhattan. Nothing was cheap. The gala had media and photographers there. Knowing I was only going to wear this for the evening and not wanting to buy another $100 tie. I amazoned and purchased this. I have to say I was pleased with the quality. This tie would work for any special occasion or for a date or wedding. For the price you can't beat it. I do think the tie is more like 1 1/2 wide. But I dident measure the tie. I would recommend this tie to anyone who is looking for a skinny tie.

I needed a cheap (but decent) skinny black tie for a costume party and this one fit the bill. It looks deceptively classy for its price and I even ended up wearing it at a few casual wine tasting events. It's all polyester and has a decent smooth textured shine, but definitely lacks the weight and feel of the genuine silk ties. Length is perfect for me - I'm 5'10" with collar size 15. My only gripe is that the strap on the reverse side of the tie can be really flimsy and requires some delicate handling, else it will surely rip off with rough handling.
