Lomo Marine LED Diving Strobe Light

Super bright, I used these on commercial fishing nets & they are brilliant

I really like these I attach one to my bag while night fishing just in case I need to let somebody know where I am in an emergency. I ordered two which arrived very promptly unfortunately one had a broken switch but after contacting the company which was very easy I must say that their customer service was absolutely superb and the product was replaced with no fuss in just a couple of days. Good quality product for the price great customer service and a very pleasant company to deal with.

Worked once, now can't get battery cradle to align with switch. So useless. Purchase for emergency use. Battery still good and it's quite bright if it worked reliable I'd be happy

I am a keen snorkeller, open-water swimmer and paddle boarder, and I recently lost my higher-spec diving strobe that I use for emergencies (should I need it). I thought I would try this Lomo marine LED Diving Strobe, and I was a little sceptical of how good it would be given the price. However, my scepticism has been pleasantly disproved. First I will get a couple of negatives out of the way, that is, the strobe is only effective in low-level light. As you can see from my photo which was taken on a recent snorkel trip in the Caribbean, the light is too white (it needs to be a stronger primary colour to stand out). Secondly, the switch could do with a lock, as I had packed the light switched off in my suitcase, but in transit, the switch had been turned on (but battery life is good). Those two issues out of the way, the device is quite light in weight, and I used it strapped to my arm using the basic arm strap, and it held in place for a couple of hours at a time with no issue (although it isn't the most comfortable to wear, would be better if it was made from neoprene or something similar). The water seal is very effective, but you do need to make sure that the twist cap to access the batteries is fastened tight for each dive or water sport activity. In low-level light (e.g. British weather, or dusk on holiday) the strobe is very effective. I went for an evening swim whilst on holiday, and my wife could see the strobe but not me, from around 150 metres. I have used this several times now and had no issues other than those mentioned. Whilst not the best in the world (because of the minor issues mentioned), for the price of £11.42 (including P&P) at the time of ordering in December 2023, it does the job it is meant to, very well.

Works very well, magnetic switches so charge lasts for ages

The lamp is bright and the seals are pretty good. I have put a strip of blue gel in mine which makes it easier to spot if lots of other lights are about. I use mine whilst pumping lug worms on the beach at night and attach it to my trolley where l keep all my tools and buckets. Sometimes the fog can come down pretty quickly and if you're a good 100 yards away, the trolley can be easily lost. Before I had this lamp there were a few times I had to go hunting for it! The only bad bit is the switch is a bit rubbish. It wouldnt take much for it to be accidentally turned off if rubbed against something.

This was brought as a replacement for a very old scubapro strobe that died. Excellent replacement. It sits in my BCD pocket and I just forget it's there. Has been on deep wreck dives and no sign of water ingress after several 70m plus trimix dives.

Lo compré para llevar en el bolsillo del chaleco cuando hago salidas en kayak de mar, sólo como precaución de seguridad. Es una pena que no tenga una posición de luz fija (no parpadeante) por si en una necesidad uno necesitara de una linterna.

Sur 2 commandés, une ne fonctionné pas à l'installation, la 2eme s'est arrêté de fonctionné en pleine mer. Pas top du tout en cas de contrôle !
