The media could not be loaded.  Mine works great! All summer long it does four hrs a day (on timed setting) and pumps to a height of a meter high out of my modified Green Man. I store the solar panel indoors in winter. Keep the impeller clean and it will run for ever!

The media could not be loaded.  Its been two months and the pump's been working fine. The adjustable height of the fountain gives you decent lift. Ideal for small to medium size container ponds. The tiny fountain spout holes tend to get clogged fast so have to clean them out often to get even sized jet. Keeping the solar panel clean ensures the battery charges efficiently. Happy with the product.

Really disappointed with product. Didn’t hold charge so light didn’t come on when dark and pump obviously didn’t work.

Don’t buy its always needs charging, solar panel is useless

I had a number of attempts at buying a simple solar powered fountain for a very simple water feature.I ended up with this on on my third attempt. It's the best of the bunch - and also the most expensive.The good things. It comes well boxed. It has a simple flow control valve that makes it easy to limit the height and thus spread of the fountain - which is good for a small water feature. There is quite a bit of flexibility around how to install it, with enough extension pipes to allow it to be installed on the bottom, or a float to allow it to float on the surface.The separate solar cell allows it to be placed in optimum light - and the battery keeps the thing running for quite a while in poor light or even dark. The LED ring is fun in the dark.The not so good things - I think all these solar power fountains are over sold in terms of how much light they need to operate. I have found it's a lot more than they suggest - and I have a bright, well lit garden. It's fine in good sunshine, but if it's even a little overcast it struggles and flattens the battery after a while. The unit is supposed to come on automatically once the battery has recharged sufficiently - this seems very hit or miss - it often seems to be necessary to switch it off and on again to get it to come back to life. I haven't tried the timer function - which only operates for a maximum of four hours and thus seems a bit limited, unless you perhaps only want it to run in the evenings. The paperwork mentions a separate charger, which would allow this to run more continuously - but I haven't managed to find one online - and despite contacting the manufacturer to ask where I might buy one I did not get a particularly helpful response.I am also contemplating hooking up a second battery backed solar cell in parallel just to get a bit more performance.In summary, it does the job - at a price - and gives a pleasing effect - but the repeated intervention is a bit of a nuisance and I would really like to have the ability to charge it using the external charger - if I could find one.

Seemed fine when first installed. Bought at end of May and installed mid June. Cleaned regularly but stopped working I’d. September. Need to look at how the grantee works. Won’t buy another or recommend it to anyone.

Very useful addition to our small pond, the light looks very attractive at night. Good quality, very pleased with the product.
