Great taste

Not as strong as flavor as I expected

Learned that most grocery store Cinnamon is made with a cheap and unhealthy kind of cinnamon. Wanted Ceylon and organic. We use this every morning in our coffee and are very pleased! Will order again and again!

I am not sure about this one, previously I used to have a Saigon cinnamon but after I learned that it’s not as good as the Ceylon cinnamon I started ordering the Ceylon cinnamon. I had tried different brands and must say the Ceylon cinnamon I had before was lighter color, a soft fruity aroma and a smooth taste. This one however, reminds me of the Saigon cinnamon, much darker color, more pungent or aggressive aroma and more scratchy on the throat! So I don’t know! 🤷🏼‍♂️I am not saying I don’t like it, I am just comparing and describing my experience… go figure!

I was using Simply Organic cinnamon that I learned had been tested to have high levels of the toxin coumarin (toxic to the liver and also a possible carcinogen) so needed to find something else since I have cinnamon on my whole wheat toast every day. The same lab that tested Simply Organic also tested this and found it to have next to no coumarin, which is one of the benefits of real Ceylon cinnamon compared to the more common cassia cinnamon. Several cinnamon products have also been found to contain concerning levels of lead, and this was also found to have low levels of lead as well. Ceylon cinnamon is a higher grade of cinnamon but is more mild so you may need to use a little more, and it is typically more expensive but buying this in the one pound bag actually makes it significantly cheaper than buying cassia cinnamon spices in the shaker bottles, and it’s also organic that is an added benefit. You may need a funnel and a shaker bottle for dispensing, and I just washed and repurposed my Simply Organic bottle and made a funnel by cutting off the top third of an empty plastic water bottle. Considering the higher quality, fewer toxins, and relatively low price here I’ll never buy regular cinnamon ever again.

Doesn't have much cinnamon taste, still healthy..mix w organic Japanese cinnamon for better

I use this cinnamon with honey to help with my memory, it works great!
