After installing the rails around my garage, I bought a bunch of hooks, this one included. At $15, it’s pricey for ONE of them. See if you can get a bundle that makes more sense financially. It can hold a Cosco World’s Greatest Ladder, which a bit shy of 40 pounds, which is the maximum rating for this hook. It works fine, but it felt… a little wobbly? The ladder hook, which has the arms looped and capacity increased to 50 pounds, felt much more stable. It can hold most other things though; think it’s the most versatile hook of the bunch. Just wish they sold it in multiples by the first party at a noticeable discount.

Probably Costco sold a starter kit marketed as a garden tool holder for shovels, racks, hoes, etc. It is very sturdy and these additional holders are the original and fit perfect. Like so many Costco products, once you buy them, you may never see them again and they certainly don't offer any more than what you get, so trying to order addition pieces is difficult, if not impossible. Thank God for Amazon and their sellers!

I was looking for a way to hold my 2 new kayaks on the garage wall and I already had some space on my FastTrack system. These are the best I could come up with as kayak holders but seem to work fairly well. I'm able to hold two 50lb kayaks with two of these hooks which I think is the top weight limit. One kayak rests on top ( could use a little more depth on the hook for this purpose ) and the other hangs from heavy duty straps at the bottom. My only complaint is that the FastTrack system does not seem to have an official kayak or canoe holder as part of the catalog. Still, it works.

I have a few of these hooks in our garage. They work great for extension cords, hoses, and other random garden tools. But my favorite use is hanging up my kids scooters! I was always tripping over those things and couldn't figure out a great way to store them. Now they're all hung up and out of the way, but still easily reachable when they want to use them.

I recently cleaned out my elderly parents garage and dad had his garden tools everywhere. I invested in several Rubbermaid Fasttrack 3 rack kits from Lowe’s (they’re more expensive now though), but needed additional hooks. I got the most mileage out of these and the power tool hooks. You can hang multiple garden tools on these. I even used them to hang a bunch of my smaller garden hand tools. You can dangle quite a few on each prong. It’s better to just get these instead of the ladder racks because you can use these to either do a ladder OR hold tons of tools.
