These things work very well. Very well made and much more affordable than OEM. I was apprehensive at first as my car is 21 years old this year and I only really like putting in OEM parts but this is a non-critical part of the car and they perform great. I didn't realize the original ones were so fatigued (they did their job for 21 years) but the hood stays up nice and with ease now. Cool.

These were packaged well and strong out of the gate. For 2 years now the hood on my Kia would sometimes stay up, then other times would give up the ghost all together. Usually of course when it was cold out or if I was in a hurry. Anyway, I finally broke down and got these. Very simple to install. And they were strong and seem like they should be supportive for quite a while. No more adding oil or checking while resting hood on my head.

After opening, they looked used so I was skeptical. Had a few deep scratches on them. However, they were easy to install and worked great on my 2013 Camry.

No issues with vendor at all. Item arrived in new condition and as described. Ordered them to replace the ones under my car's hood which fitted without issues after installing them which was also was very easy and took me literally just a few minutes to get it done after watching a video. Four stars only as I still have to test the durability as it is too early to judge after a couple of weeks installed and low utilization.

These struts work great. I was looking for an alternative to having the dealership replacing them. The dealership wanted almost $400 to replace a part that only cost around $40. And it only took me 5 minutes to replace them. Definitely worth it!

Fit 2017 Hyundai Sonata perfectly. You'll need a stick to prop open the engine lid ('bonnet') while you're working. Removing the old struts is easy: using a small flat screwdriver to first pry out the metal clips (examine the new struts, you'll see...), then they pull off easily. New struts just pop in with a click, perfect fit. Bottom first seems to be easier. Triple check (!) that they're secure as per the instruction sheet (pull test). Now the engine lid glides open like new. No more sticks. Cheap and easy, problem solved.

Fit my 04 ram 1500 perfectly and holds up the bonnet(hood) nicely. Easy swap out and install.
