Faithful, Abundant, True - Bible Study Book: Three Lives Going Deeper Still

Note to self: never buy a used study workbook! Had to wite out the answers that previous owner wrote in. Duh! Not really an inductive Bible study fan but that is only the 1st 2 lessons then I'm sure it will be fabulous after that (based on the next 2 authors styles that are familiar to me). But no study of the Bible, regardless of style, will be a waste. Homework will be time consuming but interesting. Doing this as a group on Zoom, without the video piece. The video section is always a plus, but not necessary.

We are just completing this study - absolutely wonderful! All three sections really impacted our church’s ladies Bible study group. Very Bible-based and also very practical. We highly recommend it!! It’s fantastic!!

This study was fine, but I found the homework to be at extreme ends of the spectrum as far as how much I was challenged. The three speakers write their own questions and do two chapters each, and while one speaker gets you to dig super deep into the word and find really great stuff, another pretty much gives you the answer right in her questions. A lot of those questions I didn't bother to write an answer, it was so simplistic. The speakers are all great to listen too, but the homework segments are the weak link in this study in my opinion.

This is a awesome book for bible study; If you want a deeper relationship the Lord! You truly hear in the depths of your heartand mind the word of God. You discover for yourself what God has spoken. You will discover the truth for yourself, you willdesire with all your heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit accordingly, to live the "rest of faith" And to know that God is able to handle things that comes our way; to do more than we could ever dream of.

I can honestly say that I have loved this bible study. Along with the video it has been amazing. I am not a fan of Kay's "active reading" strategies. All the underlining, circling, and highlighting was not my preferred method of study, but I know some of the women in our group liked it and she is an awesome speaker and writes a great bible study. The daily studies were short, but powerful. Great for people who want to do a bible study, but think they can't make the time. Of course bible study isn't something we are supposed to watch the clock on. :) I have been a big fan of Beth Moore for a long time now, but think I may have a new favorite in Pricilla!

I've had other Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer studies I've liked better, but it was very good all the same. It was kind of nice having the variety of the three women. Each had their own style with their different appeals to different ladies in our group, and I thought it was kind of nice to have a mix of ethnicity in there, too. It actually introduced us to Priscilla Shirer. We really liked her and did her study "Discerning the Voice of God" which I would highly recommend.

So excited about my new book and DVD series. Our COVID spiritual book club will be starting next week. Woo Hoo!!
