Full disclosure: I only got these about an hour ago. I’ve not washed them or worn them for longer than aforementioned 60 minutes, but seriously? What are these made of?! Fairy wings or unicorn hair or rainbows or magic probably. These leggings are the softest thing in the universe. You’d think that being the case they’d probably be more see through than a celebrity Met Gala dress, but no. They are completely opaque. No one will ever know if I decide to wear my Wonder Woman pants in public. Now, I’d normally never entertain the notion of clothes that I have not washed and disinfected twice to touch my skin but here’s the deal: I have a terrible and heart breaking history with leggings. So these were going to get tried before the Amazon man even properly left my porch. I mean I closed the door and went to the bathroom to change, obviously, no need to distress and innocent stranger … I digress. I’m a size 18 with a behind that someone that cannot lie wrote a song about and quite the swallowed a sheep belly. I’ve spent a fiver in leggings. And I’ve spent £25 on leggings from a certain shop that says stuff like these aren’t just leggings … anyway. My issues have remained consistent throughout. They roll over in a singularly most irritating manner the minute I sit down. They are basically sheer denier -12 so people can not only see my underwear they can see my large intestine. They make giant knee shaped blobs after sitting down for 12 seconds that stay there for days and never really go away even after a wash. Eventually it looks like I have 8 month pregnant knees. They cut through my bakers dozen (no dumber of a six pack here) magically multiplying every roll just like the cups in Belatrix’s vault in Harry Potter. These wonderful leggings do none of that. They are light and soft and unbelievably comfortable and unfortunately for everyone else I’m just going to declare it unlikely that I shall ever wear normal trousers ever again. So lucky (lol!) that Amazon just happened to have a lightning deal on the 3 pack today, so I have ordered more because people toss “life changing” around like “grateful” but I am indeed grateful for how life changing these are. There is no pregnant knees, no um, animal used in the Sahara foot appendage, no rolling down so this is high waisted and actually stays high wasted (miracle!) and no sudden white space vacuum behind the knees or anywhere else either. Just super soft lovely comfort. Not going to say buttery soft because it’s winter and England and I’d probably do serious damage if I hurled a block of butter that’s been sitting on my counter all night at someone right now, but they are soft and extremely comfortable. May or may not provide tummy control but I don’t care much either way. The alternative is Spanx and having all your fat sucked in and pushed up and out your bra and at the bottom on your legs where the Spanx end while you die slowly and painfully and I choose life. I’ve seen replies and reviews that a S-L will probably fit an 18 but I went for the XL based on the details in the product description and they’re perfect for my size 18 frame. Not about to lie to myself about the amount of space I take up in the universe just so I can buy something small that may or may not stretch to accommodate me!

Further and third edit to review: I have now bought six pairs of these leggings in total. One pair of red and two pairs black bought individually and all the fits and texture are different from item to item. Just taken delivery of a three pack of black, army green and brown and again fit and texture COMPLETELY different from pair to pair. The black pair in this three pack feels thicker and tighter than any of the other black pairs I have purchased. I get S/M each time. And a size 12/Medium and they work for me. The three pack has come saying 'one size' and no indication of s/m 😝😝. It's hilarious. Somehow it all works tho... and so cheap! Not sure if crotch friendly as not cotton, but I've not suffered. Edit: I have purchased more pairs, in different colours, and although they are all fab, there has been a noticeable difference in each pair since the original pair I bought that have made me bring the star rating down from 5 to 4. The original pair are perfect and still going strong... all the qualities listed below. I notice with subsequent pairs though the fit isn't as good... don't hold as snugly...one pair slides down so the high waisted effect is lost and get that awful sagging at the crotch I remember from wearing school tights in junior school. I hope this lack of consistency was a one off to do with a bad batch as am going to order another couple of pairs in hope. ORIGINAL REVIEW BASED ON FIRST (PERFECT) PAIR PURCHASED: These are cheap, approx a tenner (£10) and essentially a pair of thick opaque footless tights, and 100% man made fibre (no healthy crotch friendly cotton here)... and I didn't think they would work, but they are strangely beguiling and I might order more pairs in different colours. I am a 10-12 at the moment and bought a size S/M, they arrived in a package marked 'one size' so that was confusing, but they slip on beautiful, lovely and snug and stretchy without being constrictive. The high waist is very comfy, and gives support to tummy. These leggings are SO SOFT! Truly 'buttery soft'. I've done a short workout in them and yes... they do get quite warm but curiously not sweaty. Legs feel uplifted in them somehow, can't explain it. My legs are long and the ankles are slightly on the high side, but worn with ankle boots and socks bridges the gaps.

They’re very soft and stretchy and fit well. I’m a size 12 and bought large size as I don’t like tight leggings and they’re really comfortable, length is perfect too and very good value.

Brought these leggings previously due to a review saying they were soft durable and easy to put on for people with cfs/me Can say my first 4 pairs lasted amazingly wore them daily for exercise, casual wearing, they aren’t see through, nice and soft material waist band doesn’t cut you in half! So are extremely comfortable. Only brought some more as needed a smaller size! Otherwise in sure they would have lasted months more yet. Will be ordering another 3 pairs in the smaller size now I know they fit. Highly recommend

Nice and soft but they are seeing through when you bend over despite people saying they're not. I'm a size 12uk, 80kg so bought L/XL and they are baggy on the waist and made for someone taller than my 5'8". They'll be ok for casual wearing because they are comfy. I'd size down if I was to repurchase but not sure if they'd be more see through having to stretch over my thighs/bum so likely wouldn't.

Most comfortable leggings I have ever had! They don't roll down. They start just below the bra so no gaps between leggings and t s hirt. The material is really soft too. Have bought a few pairs because the price is do reasonable

Really pleased with these leggings. They certainly live up to the description. They are very comfortable and a very good fit. No see-through, material is quite thick, but not uncomfortably so. Nice to walk in and exercise in. The leggings also look very smart when paired with a tunic top. Nice high waisted design that stays in place. The price is very good so will be stocking up. So glad to have found good leggings for the "larger" size.

This is so comfortable and warm! It fits great, high waisted keeping your core tucked in and warm. Very flattering. Looks almost like normal leggings, not bulky at all. Beats much pricier alternatives and beats expectations. Great quality for price. I will Def buy more.
