The material is very good, it brings extra straps to use on several sides if you have more security, I was surprised that the material is very good and gives you a lot of security I have traveled several times and it is still very resistant really worth what you pay for

We put this cargo roof bag to use on our 800 mile road trip this past memorial weekend. Be aware that the first picture of the item is a NOT the product you'll receive. The other pictures are more accurate. We liked the idea of something light, foldable, and wouldn't break the bank. However, halfway through our trip (around 400 miles), the bag had a tear in the seams. There was no hail, rain, or wind and the weather was a perfectly sunny around 89 degrees F. The bag was only carrying backpacks with clothes so there was nothing sharp that would have penetrated through the bag. The material of the bag is sturdy but the seams are poorly secured. Driving at 90mph, the tear grew bigger and bigger. But thankfully they do provide extra tie downs so we were able to secure the bag with the seam folded down for the rest of the trip. Even though the price was reasonable, we expected more than one use.

The first time using this item one of the buckles broke. They give you extra ones to use I'm not going to send it back just too much of a hassle. It is waterproof and there is plenty of room.

I like the fact that we had more room inside our car, that being said is the only thing I liked about it. The inside of the bag peels so bad that it will not protect any of your stuff if it rains. We could also hear the wind on the bag which got annoying at times. It's just not going to last.

This has been perfect for our needs! We have used it from Oklahoma to Chicago for a LAX tournament and from Oklahoma to Panama City Beach for an end of the summer family vacation. It rained on both trips and this held up great and kept all our luggage clean and dry! We are very glad we purchased this for our travel.

It was supposed to be lightly used but it had holes in it and was ripped in multiple spots. It was not waterproof with the rips. I had to put duck tape all over it to hold it together. Not worth the little discount they gave me.
