Definitely worth trying!!!!
Works fairly well..... Does not feel greasy or leave a bad film on skin, do thats great. Helped with my pain pretty well, so I am pleased. Will order again, once this one is gone. Do not need much for it to work!!! Bonus!!!!

Not maximum strength.
Over the counter numbing preparations are limited to 5% lidocaine, the active ingredient. This product is 4%, so calling it maximum strength is a blatant lie.

Stronger lidocaine than in antibiotic pain reliever creams
This is 4% Lidocaine cream. It is twice as strong as what you find in antibiotic pain relieving creams and even more than sun burn creams. It is not a nerve block. It is lidocaine. If you have burning and itching, this works well and for several hours. It will not PREVENT pain as in, about to wax types of pain. That pain comes from under the skin and this does not block your follicle nerve endings. For scrapes, cuts, vaginal burning and the like, this cream is wonderful. I see now it's discontinued but there is another cream on Amazon, called Lidocane Plus with Lidocaine 4% Pain Relieving Cream, 4 Oz. It is the same thing but different manufacturer.

La verdad no le encuentro el efecto anestésico, para mi apenas se siente es decir que no funciona y en tal caso ves los efectos como a la media hora. no me gustó

A new must-have for the medicine cabinet
I recently got some mosquito stings. Having just bought this, I gave it a try, and it completely relieved my itchiness and achiness so I could go to sleep. It worked equally well on some kind of other bite(probably a spider bite) that was bothering me prior to that. My wife said, however, that it did not help her throbbing toe, so it probably doesn't work too well on pain emanating from much beneath the skin.

Great value and it kills pain without stinging.
I like this cream. It’s thick but not greasy. It doesn’t burn like other lidocaine creams. I use it to numb my arm because I have painful sores and also painful ingrown hairs. It also helps with nerve pain. The best part is you get 4 oz in a tube and it’s so much cheaper than the other ones I used to use. It works for me and I’ll reorder when I run out.
