This heavy duty duffle bag is ideal for all types of storage items. It is a rugged type bag whick is perfect for outdoour use. The bag is 100% cotton and is not waterproofed. I would recommend this item for camping or any other personal use.

The 21 inch dimension is the width of the bag if it is flattened out. The actual diameter of the bag is about14 inches. It is plenty big for travel and storing your stuff in a soft carrying appliance. It is not waterproof nor does it provide any impact protection. It cannot be meaningfully locked against thieves. It is a bag to carry camping gear and stuff that can be handled roughly without harm. That is how I use it and it works well in that regard. The side-zipper makes getting at stuff in the bag a lot easier than a top-located zipper. My previous bag lasted over 50 years. The metal zipper finally tore out. This version uses the same heavy canvas, but also uses non-corroding plastic-based zippers (with two metal closure gadgets) and should outlast me.

Really nice. Ours was damaged from our old tent and wanted to pass it down to my nephew. This was perfect. Even though it was much larger in circumference, my nephew will just use the extra space for sleeping bags and other gear.

Ordered the smallest as a replacement tent bag. Its big. Made well. Appears to be thick, durable material.

Good quality, massive metal zipper that should last my lifetime. Lost one star because it doesn't come with a shoulder strap. They don't advertise a strap, but it seems like it should have one included.

This bag is solid and comes in different sizes - we used it to put our new canvas tent in for extra protection even though it had its own role up bag storage. Good buy for the money!!

Bought this bag as a replacement for an old tent bag. Although it was difficult to predict the actual size given that there were conflicting reviews, the length at least was as expected and the extra width will allow me to pack in other items like a ground sheet and a rain fly.

We used it to replace a ripped tent bag. It's held up really well, with enough room for the tent plus other camping accessories like a tarp. Folds up easily when not in use.

It was not the size advertised and would not fit the item I need to store in it, but it is well made and I will keep it, and use it for some other purpose. It reminds me of the duffle bag I had, when I was in the military. Now I will have to shop for a duffle bag in the right size.

It's in the description and I didn't care, but it's worth repeating that there's no strap only handles. I bought it to store a canvas tent (9x12) and it fit well, so it's quite large but not huge. The measurement of the bag is listed as 21in - that's the measurement when it's flat. The diameter is about 13". Zipper seems solid and easy to move. Really very pleased with it.
