I bought this primarily for my mustache and beard, but it came with a set of attachments to allow for trimming. I would suggest a different size/type for cutting hair. These are excellent trimmers, however.

I believe this Moser 1591 is the same as the Wahl 85480 Chromstyle Professional Cord/Cordless Clipper (~150 dollars). The Wahl 85490 Chromini Pro Clipper or T-Cut (~78 ) has a T-shaped blade. The similarity in the "Chromini" makes things confusing.Both Wahl machines are rebranded MOSERs. The blade is made in Germany, the rest, I understand, is made in Hungary.More expensive cordless MOSERs have Lithium Ion batteries instead of the older and cheaper NiCad batteries.

Battery already died COMPLETELY

I bought this clipper in January 2018.It got very little use and I made sure to keep the battery charged, as they don't do well in a state of total discharge.While it did the job while it worked, (for me it was clipping hair around my ears and eyebrows) one day recently I went to use it and nothing. That was it. Battery dead. I tried to charge it even though I always kept it fully charged, and nothing. It will not accept a charge.Don't waste your money - the battery is not lithium ion. Spend more and get a Li-Ion battery version.
