I was excited to breathe some new life into my old beats by Dre. BEATBOX by taking it to work and using it in my breakroom. Since it only has an aux input, old 30-pin Apple connector, a proprietary slot for a wireless beats add-on card, and no Bluetooth, options are limited.Although there seems to be plenty of these 30-pin Bluetooth adapters available, this was one of the few under $20 that claimed to work with a Beatbox. It came in a small box about half the size of a business card with a sheet of instructions that explained the connecting process very comprehensively-- although it's a pretty easy plug-and-play unit. I plugged it into the 30 pin dock, the unit flashed blue and red to signal it was in pairing mode. It immediately came up as an available device on both my Pixel 3 and iPhone I would be using with it. It paired easily and the light turned solid blue. But that was it. I tested both devices and no sound was produced from my unit. I double-checked that my unit was functioning properly by connecting my old iPod and that worked just fine. This leads me to the conclusion that this IS NOT compatible with my Beatbox, although it was stated in the description.A little disappointed--so I am in the process of returning and possibly trying a different unit.

I have a nice iHome speaker that I bought in 2014. It was great to use with the iPad I had then. Since Apple changes their devices every 6 months, my iHome became useless with my newer iPad and iPhone. I use Spotify for my playlists and need my iPhone for that. I really wasn't interested in buying a Google Home or whatever when I have this iHome that is nearly brand new and that I like. So - I searched for something that could convert my iHome's compatibility with my iPhone. This 30-pin Bluetooth Receiver did the trick beautifully! I just plugged it onto the prongs of the iHome, synced to my phone, turned on my iHome and Spotify and can now enjoy my playlists without having to spend more money on another device. I am a 62 year-old tech idiot, so - if I can figure it out.....anyone can!

This will bring your old SoundDock to life; no more connecting your phone or music player through the aux port. Just plug in this adapter into the 30-pin connector, find and connect through Bluetooth and off you go!The sound quality is amazing, no deterioration whatsoever. There is a slight beep when you connect/ disconnect Bluetooth but it is not annoying.I used it on a Bose SoundDock II but this should work with other players that have a 30-pin connector; check the product listing for compatibility.I paid full price on Amazon and this review is my own, without any request from the manufacturer.Please give it a like/ thumbs-up if you like this review.

I ordered this as a last-minute gift for my in-laws who just moved into a place with built-in speakers throughout the house. However, the only way to play music through the speakers is to use a single input with an old ipod hook-up. I wanted them to be able to play music from any bluetooth enabled device, and this does the trick! Worked right out of the box with no issues! I wish there was a white option, but whatever! The physical device is smaller than I expected, which is nice. The range appears to be good, too!

Connected very quickly and easily. Description says Bluetooth version 4.1, but what I actually received was version 4.0. The difference is only a software update, but that update made a difference in sound quality, imo. A little disappointed in the misleading description, but overall works as described.

I noticed friends using their older model BOSE Speakers. Upon research on AMAZON's site, I determined the 5 stars/reviews & 'recommended by Amazon' was the 32-pin adapter for me. My husband and I love this product. We are now able to use our BOSE Speaker again (purchased for IPOD years ago). Easy to synch with BLUETOOTH(TM). I highly recommend you try this product.

I used this on a JBL 30 pin player at work. My old 30 pin adapter died way too soon, so I decided to try this one. Immediately upon sesting it, the bluetooth connected quickly and I had my music rockin'! Awesome! I have only had it about a month but so far, 5 stars! I would definitely purchase it again if I needed one.
