This swing looks really good and strong, yes the wood comes with some big cracks running down the length, but they aren't a problem because it's just natural cracks from the wood drying out. I have painted my swing though before I set it up, just to give it extra protection against the environment. But the swing itself was very easy to set up, and I would suggest you have 2 people to set it up even though it's possible to do it with 1 person. But the quality of the swing is great, and it looks better than those metal swings. It was well worth the money just to see my boy smile every time he goes on there, and knowing it will last him years and years, makes it even better.

Wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. My (just turned) 3yr old is too small to be using a normal swing seat for safety reasons, so I bought the toddler seat version. The back of the seat is too high which leaves hardly any angle to get her legs in and under the front part of the seat, meaning I’ll now need to buy another seat, as it’s all built and I can’t really return it now. Add onto that some missing washers and some pretty bad splits in the wood, and I’m left with a swing that is going to need more money spent to be useable. Really disappointing.

Sturdy and safe frame, you do have to drill your own holes . Seat of good quality and stable . Good quality and pleased with purchase .

Splintered wood, split everywhere. Really low quality. Random screws thrown in (see picture). Missing washers. Needed to drill everything myself while getting stung by the splinters. Terrible experience.

This is a good quality swing and also looks great. My grandson loves swinging on it
