My son got his steel-toe work boots wet and they started to smell like a combination of cat urine and skunk. I tried fa-breeze on them, but that only covered up the smell for an hour or two. I read lots of reviews and decided to try this. It may work OK on hard surfaces, but it did absolutely nothing for the boots. I sprayed the boots every day after my son wore them and they still stunk. I poured half a bottle in each boot and swished it around and put them on a boot dryer and they still stunk. No improvement at all. I ended up buying 91% isopropyl alcohol at the drug store, poured about 4 ounces in each boot, swished it around, put them on the boot dryer and they finally stopped stinking completely. The smell of isopropyl alcohol nearly gassed us out of the house, but at least the boots smell spring fresh now even after he has worn them every day for a week.Sportguard, I had such high hopes but you let me down.

Purchased this primarily for my son's lacrosse gloves and elbow pads. He sprays them inside and out after each use, then allows them to dry in the open (not inside his bag in the dark). Keeps the equipment smelling neutral (no perfumes) and has prolonged the life of the pads, preventing rot. Highly recommended.

This works pretty well although I have to use a bit more than I like to. It does help keep the smell down although I also use Fabreeze to improve the smell.

This stuff is AMAZING....keeps my son's football pad stench free for weeks-months!!!! Highly recemmong getting this for any sports equipment!!!!

Works perfectly and gets rid of ALL THE GYM BAG FUNKIt doesn't have a weird smell or anything like fabreeze sport. It's just a good antimicrobial spray and it works like magic.You won't be disappointed.I got this for my man friend and he does mma/BJJ every night of the week and between funky gloves and funky Gi's it's hard to keep things clean.This is a great product for anyone doing sports activities and keeping clothes and equipment in their car/bag/locker. I will be purchasing this again in the future.

Disappointed all together with my purchase of this product for the simple fact that I can't use it because it did NOT come with the sprayer as shown in the picture.

I have a yoga mat that I take to the gym to use for yoga and a body pump class. I have to admit that I sweat a lot and my mat is usually very wet when I am done with class. I was so excited to try this for my honest review, because I have been looking for something that would kill the bacteria on my mat and neutralize the odor without leaving any kind of heavy scent. It also makes me feel good that it provides a long lasting protection barrier. I thought that it would be great to use on my exercise equipment in my house too. Little did I know though, until I read the label, is that I could use it in my spin shoes and on my workout clothes after I worked out! My shoes don't smell anymore which is great because I thought I was going to have to buy a new pair, just for that reason. My workout clothes come out of the wash smelling much better than they did before. This product works really well and is perfect for any active person.

wow i have 6 kids and there all in sports I used this on my kids sport equipment minute i got it and have been using it daily! Love it makes me know all the germs are gone for the day and gets the smell out the house. I received for my honest and unbiased review
